"Wow! Is how I would describe Mirada and a Super wow! , for the staff members. I am very happy to say that to live in a place where the amenities and staff are the very best it's something to be grateful for. I am truly grateful to Daniel and Danika for the behind the scenes effect in changing the inspection date to accommodate my disability for my transfer. Thank you so very much, you guys rock. Amy jumps to my questions without hesitation with the most informative answers, Amy as always thank you so very very much. You are the best. Priscilla Assistant property manager is always very busy, yet finds time to ask about my walking and progress. She's the best. What I want to say is that Mirada and it's staff have made my life a lot better since I became part of the Mirada family. I love you guys thank you so very much. williamorris"
"I just moved into this complex a few weeks ago, it sucks. I made one of the biggest life mistakes of my life moving here. Management/leasing rules are bizzare and exhausting to navigate through. It has been one of the worst I have ever dealt with in my 10+ years of renting. Could be the new management company Cushman & Wakefield and not the employees themselves, or ownership, I am not sure... but just avoid it if you can. I saw the reviews online and didn't fully trust them but I really wish I did :( The tenants here are missssserable .... at least in my building. It is bad energy. If you are a happy go lucky person this is NOT the place for you. I am not even kidding ... You could be an easy go with the flow tenant and it will make zero difference here, they will still find something to nag you about. I have not recieved one complaint as a tenant in my entire life, ever, yet I moved here and all the sudden I am having issues. Only once I moved here. Please please just spare yourself. The reviews are true... I am deeply saddened by the fact I moved here. For the first time My previous property manager (who was literally my neighbor) was asking me to please stay another year and how much they would love to have me. A little background on me, I have 10 years of perfect rental history, perfectly clear background check, never been evicted, always kind to my neighbors, ask for very very little. and have good credit. For the first I am feeling like this management company would find a reason to evict me even though I am a good tenant ... I just get that overall vibe. I am saving so I can pay the fines to break the lease early."
"For how many agents they have in the leasing office, it is absolutely insane how difficult it is to reach someone. Why do they have off-site help if the off-site agents do not know anything and can't help you with anything? In order to get someone in our leasing office on the phone, you have to call about 5-6 times, and MAYBE they will pick up. I am tired of getting connected to these useless agents that can't even pronounce "Mirada" correctly. @Mirada maybe have some sort of training for your staff or do away with the "we will be with you promptly and we value your time" because I can assure you, you do not care about anyones time except your own. The leasing office agents are not equipped to help residents with most needs. They all seem to be uneducated and have no idea what is going on in their own complex."
"READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS - they’re all true. I’ve been a resident for over 3 years and had my car towed this weekend (in the private, resident-only garage) with ZERO notice. I have a valid parking permit which I have paid for, for 3 years now. I walked out to the garage and my car was gone. NO CALL, EMAIL, or WARNING. I had no idea whether it was towed or stolen from the garage the night before. No notice or phone # to call. Tried calling the Mirada general line and spoke to someone who said I had to wait for “normal business days” in order to find out what tow company was used or where my car was taken to. Absolutely zero help and horrible customer service. In the end I had to pay close to $500 to release my car. Horrible experience, these people do not care about their residents. I can go on with many other instances. On a side note, if you WFH and would like a quiet, peaceful environment, this is NOT the place to live without being disrupted by constant noise every single day over needless “renovations”, etc. Please think twice before moving here. The staff and management (aside from the maintenance crew) are incompetent, dismissive, dishonest, and scamming their own residents."
"I wish I could give this community 0 stars. Their leasing office staff is not only rude but uneducated on what is provided to their low income tenants. I was promised plank flooring and two parking spaces upon move in and was overpromised and under delivered. I attempted to speak with Daniel Hernandez who is the office manager, about my parking permits and he was extremely disrespectful and talked over me. This community is definitely in violation of fair housing. I have several examples of them discriminating against me based on my income. I look forward to updating this review throughout my time here and I deeply hope that Cushman & Wakefield will actually do something to help future tenants in my position. It is disgraceful to treat low income housing persons as if they are lesser. Update! I have now encountered several of the maintenance staff and can say I was pleasantly surprised. The maintenance staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in ways that the leasing staff are not. Leasing office 0 stars Maintenance office 4 stars"
