"I strongly would not recommend moving here. The location is ideal, however, the staff aren't very helpful nor is the maintenance team very reliable. Unfortunately the team that works here does not provide any support to the residents. Service requests take an average of 3 to 4 weeks if not months to be resolved. Parking is quite a hassle as the parking rules are not enforced. Safety is an issue as most gates are usually broken, and security is non-existent. The only plus side to living at Deerwood are the few friendly faces that live in the complex."

"I am absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience in doing business with Deerwood Apartments. I applied for an apartment within the community and was told I needed to deposit $150 to hold the apartment being applied for. NEVER was I given the impression or notice that it was non refundable. Over the next two weeks of me constantly reaching out for updates I was given different information , sent links that sometimes didn’t work, and received repetitive requests for income (even though I sent them over and over again). I finally had enough and politely emailed Leah Wilson explaining my unproductive interactions with them had reached their end. Even though I had already paid the application fee of $50x3 for myself and the 2 other adults applying with me, the experience left a bad impression on me. When I requested my $150 back, I was told it’s non refundable due to it being 72 hours since I gave it to them. So, I am out $50 x 3 for useless applications AND the $150 they requested as a deposit, but never disclosed a 72 hour clause. I feel it’s done intentionally because they intend to drag their feet and not communicate so at least they get something out of their poor service. Mind you, almost EVERY communication during our interactions was initiated by ME. I am very happy that I did not sign a lease with Deerwood, they can barely handle returning calls and are deceptive. I can only imagine how they treat their residents. Avoid them unless it’s your absolute last choice."

"Conducted a quick tour of this location as I’m looking to make some changes, this area is not only near schools but very close to Costco and fast stations among more. The community was quiet with some activity that makes it more of a homey feel with the color looking great, the inside is very spacious and everything you need to the point of almost being a house. Plenty of parking for guests and or tenants. The beautiful and charismatic assistant manager Charlene is very informative and respectful and will assist you from A to Z in what needs to be completed to get you in. Of course each individuals situation varies however give them a try if you’re in need of a new place to call home. With an in house gym, package drop box center, massive pool and more you can’t go wrong."

"Too expensive for what you get here , once they get you to rent here they change their additude they don't care about your apt. Problems & believe me there are going to be problems they take their time fixing your concerns all they want is your money and when they finally get around to fix something for you they do it the cheapest way possible if one of your appliances goes out they try to fix it but if they can't they will down grade your appliances, Management not qualified no customer service skills really bad customer service , front office people are not skilled for that job they need to be replaced !!! Plus security there's no security there has been break- ins to cars parking here sucks no sense of order !! Front office people don't care"

"The office staff at Deerwood have been so great answering all of my questions. The office was clean and had complimentary coffee! Charlene was extremely helpful and nice as can be. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She went above and beyond her duties to ensure we were taken care of. During the application process, we ran into a technicality with technology. One of the online verification systems would not accept our documents. Frantic and emotional, we turned to Charlene, who immediately sent us over to Vanessa, the property manager. We tried to work through the problem by contacting the finance department to send the documents several different ways, but to no avail. Vanessa made a call to the district manager for us and we waited for the final answer! Within a matter of hours, the situation was rectified and Charlene called us with the approval! We had another issue arise of a personal matter, shortly after the approval, so our victory was short lived. The staff diligently tried to work that situation out, as well. Although we are not able to occupy the residence at this time, I would recommend Deerwood! The pool area sold us and I’m very sad that we will not have the pleasure of enjoying it. I rate Deerwood 5 billion STARS!!!"
