"This place is the worst place I had ever rent they tow your car without any previous notice one day there were 7 cars tow away I found out they have a business with them under the table maintenance they get a cut of every payment the car owner has to pay to get their car back from the towing company. SHADY. They have the worse customer service maintenance is absolutely horrible. I got my living room flooded with water because the upstairs unit was never repair their since had a leak that leak all the way to my apartment. They took weeks actually weeks to come and fix it . I end up moving out . I would never renew my lease . Run away from this place"
"I am a current resident here at Deerfield. I moved in may of this year. First off, there are many non residents that hang out in the complex that look very suspicious. They have neck and face tattoos that smokes their cigarettes around the pool area day and night. When I moved in I was told this was a non smoking/vaping apartment and a safe community but it’s far from that, I don’t feel safe here. I have brought up my concerns with the leasing office about this but all they had to say was “if you see anything suspicious call the patrol officer.” (Thats never around) They didn’t care to provide a solution or help with the residents safety. secondly when signing the lease I was given a designated parking spot under a carport. Jessica the leasing agent that help set up my move in said I can use any non covered parking spots for my guest. Never did she mention I needed a parking permit for guess parking. For the past 6 months I’ve been living here I’ve had my guest park at the designated guess parking without any issues. My guess got his car towed without any parking warning tickets. There are no signs of no parking without permit visible anywhere around the complex. Again management was no help. There are used condoms in the jacuzzi just one of many reasons this place is dirty. But mostly the laziness of the management team Zack and Tim to do nothing about any of the above issues."
"MOVING OUT SOON (11 Bear Paw) even I have to break contracts a million times over! Summer 2023. #NOISE!! It's literally a miniature zoo, starting from 6 am, crow-feeding party by good Samaritans to 10 pm, elementary to college kids playing in the pool. Even 911 won't help! Good luck!"
"When I first moved in around 2 years ago, it was great - leasing office was responsive. Overtime everything has gone downhill - tenants, services, responsiveness. Every time I inquire about something through the website, no one responds now whereas they use to call back and follow-up. No one picks up the phone at the leasing office now either. The quality of tenants have gotten progressively worse despite the rise in rent cost. The children that live here are completely disrespectful of public space and constantly leave belongings outside blocking the public walkways. Hence, majority of the families that live here are not considerate either. And these are the people the leasing office is approving to live here. Numerous tenants also never take their laundry out on time and I have also seen people lurk/stay in the laundry room who are not doing laundry which is suspicious. They've increased laundry costs so drastically (now $2.25 per wash/dry) to the point where I have had to opt going to the laundromat instead. The washing machines don't hold a lot and the dryers are not great at drying either. There's an ongoing cockroach problem. I'm an extremely clean tenant and will still get cockroaches coming into the house from A/C vents, ceiling panels, and elsewhere I'm not aware of. I've done everything I can to keep them at bay but management doesn't care and say it's out of their control. You will also see a lot of cockroaches on the walkways at night. Maintenance services have been generally responsive. There is one particular maintenance worker (who I will not name) who is condescending and has a bad attitude. If I could request anyone but him, I would. I have hardly needed much servicing done over the course of 2 years but they're generally okay with keeping you updated. For the price of rent they're charging new renters now, I'd recommend looking elsewhere, it's certainly not worth paying $2.2k+/month rent here."
