"Hi! I was wondering if there was anyone that could help me or if this is just how you treat your residents. I live at Villa Siena and I have had a broken freezer we are holding together by tape. I submitted a maintenance request and scheduled an appointment for Saturday 1/20 between 2-4pm that was missed. You probably know this already since I have been either calling or emailing every day. 1/20 - waited all day for maintenance and no one showed up. I called the resident service office (during hours) and left a voicemail asking for and update. (No response) 1/21 - emailed RSO asking for more information and explaining our freezer is held together by tape and we didn’t get a call back about our missed appointment. (No response) 1/22 - called and spoke to Kayla in the RSO about the missed appointment. She said next available appointment is the 30th. I asked if there was anything they could do since this was already a missed appointment. She said she would call head of maintenance and call me back. (Never received a call back) 1/23 - received the notification that my service request was completed, which is wasn’t, and emailed RSO saying that the request was NOT completed and no one had been here. (Received no response) 1/24 - emailed the office again saying we needed it fixed by Saturday, and once again no response. If you could please guide me in what to do to get our freezer fixed I would appreciate it. Calling/emailing/and scheduling appointments doesn’t seem to work."

"Update: Villa Siena closed my service request and said they fixed it, but did nothing. Weeks later, my carpet is still not fixed and there are rusty nails sticking up. I can’t begin to explain my Irvine Co drama, but the latest installment is that, despite asking them not to replace the carpets in my upcoming apartment because I had seen the incredibly poor quality of the new carpets, they did so anyway, and somehow managed to install the carpet so poorly that is is now a safety hazard. I noticed the edges were not tacked down, and that I could see a nail sticking up. I gently lifted the edge, and the entire carpet came up. Rusty nails are now sticking out and I can’t walk without shoes on. The office has not answered my calls, despite all of them being well within their operating hours. My previous review of an Irvine Co complex was mysteriously removed. For three thousand dollars a month, the Irvine Company’s quality is robbery."

"5 stars solely for the maintenance team! Recently, and our best experience so far, was with Marco. He was friendly, fast, and efficient in getting the work done. Not only did he complete the original request, he was happy to help take care of my additional emergency plumbing request within minutes! I'm happy with the maintenance technicians that serviced our unit in the 3 years that we have been here, but Marco's professionalism and customer service experience was top-notch. Marco made my day!"
