"Been at portico apartments almost a year now! Absolutely loved the experience and management. Maintenance had always been fast. Walking distance to grocery stores and others. Pet friendly and lovely courtyard to hang out in with other tenants. If I didn’t outgrow my one bedroom I would stay here for years."

"Terribly unpleasant experience, as I attempted to schedule an appointment to inquire about a one-bedroom apartment, the website proved to be highly unreliable. It provided me with a link, but unfortunately, it did not confirm my appointment as expected. In my frustration, I resorted to making phone calls, desperately trying to reach someone who could assist me, but to no avail. Despite leaving multiple voicemails, detailing the situation, my calls were blatantly ignored. A whole week passed, and the anticipated day finally arrived. Consequently, my wife and I decided to take matters into our own hands and visit the premises in person, hoping for a walk-in appointment. Upon our arrival, we approached the building's door camera system and contacted the office. Regrettably, the person who answered the call did so in a rather impolite manner and proceeded to ask a series of questions. After providing her with the necessary updates, she disappointingly informed us that there were no available one-bedroom apartments left. In a last-ditch effort, we inquired about the possibility of viewing a two-bedroom apartment, only to be promptly denied. When we requested her name, she rudely terminated the call. Eventually, someone opened the door for us, granting us access to the lease office. However, despite our persistent knocking, no one answered, and the office remained completely closed with a open sign on the door which was very confusing Lastly, another person arrived for their appointment, and unfortunately, a similar situation occurred. It was incredibly frustrating. If I had the option, I would rate this place with less than a single star. The way she treated us made us feel unwelcome and as if we were in a desperate situation. this happen on 2/17/24 at 11:32 AM"

"Run, just run. The office management is friendly & does what they can. It's been 7 days now that I've had water leaking from a light switch & the ceiling over my bed. There is no electricity in most of the unit because of water in the walls. Yesterday someone finally came out to look at the issues. They said it would be another 3-5 days until they could get the repairs started. Then another 1-2wks for the repairs. They've done nothing to help me. The unit has been uninhabitable for 7 days. Yet they've flat-out refused to assist with safe accommodations over the last 7 days, or until the repairs are done. I asked to be put up in a hotel for my safety & until repairs are complete. They said no your unit is liveable. This is not a safe place to live. My door & door jam has been broken since I moved in over a year ago. I put in 2 work orders to have it replaced. They were marked as completed with no actual work done on the door. There is no exterior venting over the gas stove. So enjoy carbon monoxide poisoning if you want to cook anything. And the internet. I was twitch streaming for $$$. Without notice, they cut our Spectrum lines. Then forced us to use their wifi mesh network limited to 300mbps, slow. Too slow to game & mulit-stream. Their network is about as safe as Motel 6. As well management can monitor your internet traffic from the office."

"It's a mess from the entrance, who would live with an entrance covered by trash, it's totally hazardous and unhealthy."

"If you love roach infested places you’ll love this place! Parking is also a nightmare here so if you have a car I suggest to look somewhere else. Having any guests over isn’t the best idea since there’s very limited guest spaces. Street parking fills up fast too, there’s a broken down car that takes up the same space everyday. The person occupying the vehicle also likes to scream in the middle of the night! The laundry rooms aren’t very clean either. I found a wet band-aid with my clothes.. it wasn’t mine! It was stuck inside the washer.. how gross!"
