Volta on Pine 635 Pine Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802

"Do NOT move here. There are constant car break-ins, daily package thefts, and people were even living in the parking garage at some point. I've seen arrests in the alley between the buildings. I do not feel safe here. AMC LLC (which runs this place) refuses to increase security. Apartment management is extremely unresponsive and slow to alert us of any safety incidents. Even if you email or call with something important, they do not respond. I have to corner them to get information. You could get far safer, and better, living situations in Long Beach for the same money. Edit: Since Volta’s response to this review, our parking garage gate has been broken for nearly three months and intruders have broken into one of the buildings and found roaming the halls/getting high in stairwells."

"Do not move here. Every day. And I do mean EVERY DAY a car, or a storage locker, or the mail room is broken into. Since living here I have lost an e-bike, countless packages, and have never felt safe once. On rainy days homeless will stay in the lobby bathroom and leave behind their trash. Security is not anywhere and if you ask staff for help they won't be available. They'll offer an empty apology for you lost items and then do nothing about it other than blame the tenants for having nice things worth stealing. The elevators are always broken, and currently the parking garage door has been broken for over a month making it all the more easy for theft. We saw security guarding the open garage once and he was sitting on his phone not bothering to check anyone coming in. If you move here you WILL be robbed. Please don't do that to yourself."

I love how everything is walking distance from Volta on pine, I would definitely move here again. Would recommend to everyone that wants to live in a clean and quiet property."

"Volta on pine was such a great living experience. The apartment was a great place to call home while I was here. I have to say the staff here was very helpful and amazing. Jessica was really helpful in helping us find the best living situation at the time and was very helpful with all our needs while living there. Every time I had a Maintenance requested —which was not often—it was handled in a timely manner. This place is great to live and the area is a good area also. Basically could use my bike and go just about anywhere. They offer parking spots but the bike was just nice to use and visit all around the area. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to live with a gym, pool and awesome sky lounge. More than anything though i really enjoyed always having someone there when i needed calcification or just the peace of mind to know there was always a friendly staff ready to attend my needs.
