"This place isn't in the best part of Oxnard California but there apartment's are nice I did read other reviews that said bad thing's but Jessica who answered my call was very helpful and explained everything read the other reviews I'm ok with still living here because I mind my own business"

"who ever is selecting more than one star does not care about living in humane conditions. The only reason why the city hasn't bull dosed that place down is because they have you sign a mile long contract that discloses the fact that your apartment has mold, infestation, and asbestos problems. So they force you to sign something stating, live here at your own risk. If you care about your well being or the health of your family please avoid this place at all cost. Pay the extra 100 a month some where else. If I could only tell you how many times I've had to to throw away my belongings due to mold and infestations, on top of the sewage flooding's from upstairs, I would have saved thousands of dollars. The owners of these apartments have no shame to allow people to live in such squalor. I predict if things do not improve in the way these apartments are managed, very soon there will be no more porta rossa apartments. They're better off bull dosing that place down and rebuilding a new apartment complex."

"I lived here for five years and during the time we had different neighbors that were loud and constantly fought. The walls are very thin so we would here yelling in all parts of our unit. Management didn’t seem to care about the hostile environment these people created. In addition, we had bedbugs on two occasions which forced us to throw out clothes and furniture. Apparently these bugs were coming from other units which infested the entire building. On one occasion we had a huge roach infestation which again forced us to throw out several of our items due to the roaches getting between the crevices. When I brought it to management attention we were told one back neighbor had let the problem get so bad again the entire building was infested. We also had a mold problem because the bathrooms have no window or ventilation. We were forced to move our bed from the bedroom to the living room in order to avoid the mold smell coming from the bathroom. It became such a health problem for my husband that he was forced to use an inhaler every day; so we finally moved out. Another problem is the garbage bins apparently people don’t know how to throw out trash so there is trash outside the bins which creates an obvious horrible smell. Parking is terrible. You get one assigned parking space and if you have more than one vehicle good luck finding a parking spot on the street. You’d have to park two-three blocks away if you weren’t home by 4pm."

"Complete sh** hole. Outside, the grounds look decent, except for the trash area. Trash is everywhere! Furniture from residents who move out is always stacked by the dumpster. Inside, the units are cockroach-invested, moldy, and the kitchen is so small that two people can't even fit inside. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear your neighbor peeing if you're in the bathroom at the same time. You will have the worst neighbors ever if you rent here. They have no respect for quiet time. I honestly can't believe how much they charge for rent at this property."
