"Went to 3 consultations for dark spot removal through laser. At the fourth they told me they couldn’t help me because I have too much melanin. I understand if she hasn’t worked on darker skin before and is uncomfortable but I’m not even that dark to begin with. I’m more of a light tan. To be directly dismissed and not recommended to a different person felt highly discriminatory and unprofessional. The only thing they offered was a refund but the troubles that went to get the refund was obstacle after obstacle. Lies and racism lie in this place where it shouldn’t be tolerated but unfortunately is."

"Taylor is very professional and knows what she is doing. She explains procedures well. Jennifer is knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions. The front desk is very friendly. My wish is that the lobby area was more inviting. I know that Ideal Image wants a more clinical look than a spa look. However, I have been in clinics that seem more updated and inviting. If they purchased some new furniture or there were some nice pictures on the wall, an artificial tree in the corner, etc. , it would add so much!"

"The team is great! Super knowledgeable! I was so scared before my Botox and laser hair treatments and they were very helpful getting me through my anxiety with needles. I definitely expected a lot worse, and they made it easy!"

"I responded to an online ad about a service at Ideal Image. Someone called me almost immediately and an immediate video visit followed. I felt pressured to make a purchase that I wasn't sure I even wanted. The woman was pressing me saying if I didn't book immediately, I would lose the "deal". I told her I needed some time to research and think about it, but was being told if I didn't book right now I would need to pay more later on. Against my better judgment, I gave out my credit card info and was immediately charged for the total cost of services I was unsure I even wanted. Feeling nervous, I looked at the company's reviews and BBB reviews, which were not good. I'm guessing this is why the woman pushed me to pay immediately before I did my research, which is not a good business practice, in my opinion. Anyhow, I called Ideal Image in Woodbury the following morning prepared for a battle to have my money returned, as there are many reviews stating that is what happened to them. I spoke to the new manager, Jennifer, and she was so personable, empathetic, and genuine. She told me I was well within my "buyers remorse" period and said that after meeting with her and Haley, RN, an employee who provides services there in person and talking about options, that I would be entitled to a full refund if I decided I wanted to decline. I had such a wonderful time talking to Jennifer and Haley. They are both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. They put me at ease right away. After discussing some no pressure options, I opted for a full refund and was treated extremely respectfully and professionally. Due to no fault of her own, Jennifer has been working diligently to remedy all of the issues that were causing poor reviews in the past. She's a positive leader/manager who honestly cares about her customers and is the embodiment of integrity. Haley was so helpful in helping me to understand procedures/treatments offered and how they could realistically be of benefit. Both her and Jennifer were so warm, welcoming and non-judgmental. I would recommend this business, but skip the pushy sales team and go directly to the office. They'll take great care of you!"
