"Cavern Point Loop Trail was a brief loop for us. If I remember correctly, we headed back to the dock to ensure we didn't miss our ferry and cut through part of the trail by way of a private-looking road meant for park ranger use. My group of 3 hiked this trail in July of 2021. We hiked 1.81 miles in just under 45 minutes with an incline of 356 feet. Having never hiked on an island before, these were one-of-a-kind views. If I didn't know where we were, I would have guessed Hawaii. Mid-hike, my sister discovered the bone of a wild pig. The winds were intense at the top."

"Great hike to see beautiful views of the island and Scorpian's Landing. I tracked about 1.5 miles from the campgrounds to end at Scorpion's Ranch. Some elevation but not super strenuous. Took about 40 minutes with stops to take pictures!"

"Incredible viewpoint on Santa Cruz Island of Channel Islands National Park that can be easily reached during a day-trip excursion from Scorpion Harbor (it is 2 miles round trip). Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding cliffs. Nice views on the hike to get there. Some elevation gain, but not too bad."
