"Current on-site manager extremely nice and considerate. She keeps the grounds looking great, responds to calls no mater what time it is. I love living here and can’t wait to see what happens next!"
"First, let me start off by thanking the Property manager! Victoria was so accommodating to my family and I. Spoke highly of the property and thier service. From the time I inquired to the day of my lease signing, it was an absolute breeze. I highly recommend this community."
"I am currently a resident here at Milpa Village Townhomes, and have been since August 2020. I will not be renewing my lease, because although these townhomes are expensive and I knew what I was getting myself into, you get little to no response if you have any issues with the property. To preface, I first must tell you that I am personally a very clean person. I clean up after myself, I scrub everything very meticulously, and I disinfect all my counters after use. I have never had issues with bugs or pests before in any other place I have resided. When I first moved in here, these townhomes were brand new. There was a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE ant infestation. They were crawling everywhere-- the crevices of all my walls on ALL three floors, in my kitchen, if I ate something and didn't completely wipe the crumbs off my table there would be a massive infestation. I have never seen so many ants in my life inside of someone's home. I could not even sleep the first night because ants kept crawling on me, my bed, and on my pillow. It was absolutely disgusting. Now, on to the problem that is currently happening. Around February, I noticed a very strong skunk-like smell coming from my vents every time I used my heater. I let it slide, but it happened again a little bit later. This time I got a little concerned, asked a neighbor if they experienced the same issue, and they said no. I brought this up to Hannah, and she said she would send someone out from Clark to take a look. The man shows up, goes up into the attic, and says, "Yup. I smell it." He believes something may have crawled into the vents or the attic or something and died. He said there was nothing I could do about it, and nothing I could do to prevent it. I was disgusted, but okay, he said there's nothing I can do about it, so I will let it pass. Couple weeks later, the smell comes again. I bring it up to Hannah, and she says she will have a maintenance person that works for the property come out and take a look. He goes in, says he doesn't smell anything, crawls up into the attic and takes pictures for me and says there's nothing. He tells me that if I wanted to keep pursuing the issue, I would need to let Hannah know to pick it up with someone who specializes in the vents. At this point, I just felt like I was asking for too much, and maybe it's just in my head. I let this slide. Now, couple months later, there are GNATS, DEAD GNATS falling out of my air vents whenever I turn on the heater or AC. I texted Hannah, and she said that these were very common and happens because of the warmer/humid weather. Uh... I have never heard or seen this happen before. It was not just one or two, my bathroom floor was covered in dead gnats. It looked like I had speckled flooring. It was under every air vent in my house. I brought this up to a friend, and he recalled I had an issue with something that may have potentially crawled into my vents and died, and he said that gnats don't just come from nowhere. They need a food source to survive.. I will just leave it at that. I kept texting Hannah because first of all, even if there isn't something dead in my vents, gnats falling out of your vents when you're trying to use them is disgusting. She gave me no updates, just responses, and said she would have Clark sent out again the following day to take a look, and she said she will give me a time frame when she gets one. Clark was supposed to come yesterday. Am I just expected to not be working, and staying home all day to wait? The day that Clark was supposed to come, no text. I had to text her for an update. I am yet to receive a response, and I find it hard to understand why this does not seem like a huge issue to the community. I have two kids that live with me, and there are dead GNATS coming out of my air vents. This doesn't even seem safe, or even sanitary for my kids to be here. This isn't even everything that has happened during my stay here. I have so many more stories. If you are considering moving here, please BEWARE."
"Took the photos in September 2019. I think it is a bit too close to the street. Downtown Milpitas do need some facelifting."
