"I wish I had been informed these are NOT remotely soundproof at all. There is 0 attempt at soundproofing. I hear every detail of the couple who lives downstairs. Word for word I hear their loud conversations and every little sound as if they were right next to me. It is past midnight on a weeknight and they have invited several guests over into their tiny studio and are making so much noise. They frequently host parties late at night on weekdays which I don’t even understand how 4 or more people can hang out in such a tiny space. Couples and families with children are pretty common even though this building is all 250 square foot studios which I think violates California rental codes Please add some soundproofing to make up for the ghetto people that love to cram as many people as possible into a tiny studio. In the meantime, I recommend avoiding this place if you’re a working professional who works traditional hours."
"Annoying neighbors that call cops for stupid reasons and annoying landlords that contact my dad instead of me. I lived there between December 2013 and September 2014. They may have had a change of management."
"Lovely little apartment community of studio apartments. Since there are only studios and no pets allowed, it tends to stay cleaner, quieter and more peaceful than some other apartment complexes with larger floorplans. The people who live at Carriage House tend to appreciate and respect the rules, including no smoking on site. This place appeals mostly to hard-studying students, hard working business people and a few retirees. They've done lots of updates since early 2018, including: new dual pane windows, improved landscaping, updated/ more secure mailboxes, updated laundry facilities/machines, updated appliances, updated flooring, updated fixtures, etc. Only complaint is that the auto shops next door like to park their customer cars in front of Carriage House + the whole street, so street parking is difficult for new comers on a tour and for people with roommates. Also, the auto shops make noise at night sometimes."

"I lived there for a year on 2009 with my daughter the manager they was really nice with us but my daughter was pregnant and we decided to move to an apartment with two bedroom. I received my complete deposit. It was a nice and clean place always."
