"Dario the maintenance guy is great at Apex! He came and helped my mother with her sink and floor and took great care of her! He responded so quickly. Fixed her sink and cleaned up the floor. "BEWARE OF APEX APARTMENTS' UNETHICAL PRACTICES We lived at #249 (or you can say 2BHK) for a year and had a decent experience during our stay. The apartment was spacious and well-maintained, and the staff was courteous and helpful. However, our move-out experience was a NIGHTMARE. We cleaned the apartment thoroughly and left it in the same condition as we received it. We were shocked when we got a move-out statement with outrageous charges: Bathtub Resurfacing: $1400 Full Apartment Paint and Supplies: $363 Full Carpet Replacement: $708 These charges are completely unreasonable and unjustified. The bathtub was in perfect condition when we moved out, and there was no need for resurfacing. The paint and carpet were also in good shape, with no stains or damages. We have the move-out photos to prove it. We tried to contact the management multiple times to dispute these charges, but they ignored our calls and emails. This is a clear case of fraud and exploitation. We are very disappointed and angry with Apex Apartments. They are taking advantage of their tenants and ripping them off. We strongly advise anyone to avoid renting from them, unless you want to deal with the same hassle and stress. Responding to the comment: It cannot be a coincidence that every tenant is charged for the same things. I lived in the apartment for 6 months. Normal wear and tear is natural. Bathroom resurfacing, changing charpet in just 6 months of tenancy is outrageous. I was so happy with the apartments and swift responses that i actually referred 4 of my friends and they are living in apex. But never again."
"POST-MOVE-OUT EXPENSES ARE EXORBITANT AND LEAVE YOU HELPLESS We had a positive experience during our year-long stay at #268. Maintenance was prompt, and any issues were addressed immediately. However, our move-out experience has been disappointing. We left the apartment in proper condition, and it was occupied by new residents the very next day. To our surprise, we received a move-out statement with exorbitant charges: Carpet Cleaning: $115 Apartment Cleaning: $190 Apartment Paint and Supplies: $282 Tub Reglaze: $700 Carpet Repair: $219 We understand charges for cleaning, but the Tub Reglaze cost is unjustifiably high, exceeding the cost of a new tub. Additionally, carpet repair charges were applied without any prior issue. In the move out inspection it is clearly mentioned full clean and no repair. These are absolutely unfair and unacceptable. We've reached out multiple times via email and phone, seeking clarification on these charges, but have received no response. Even during the pre-move-out inspection, we were assured that everything was in good condition. The mail and photos are attached. This lack of transparency and unresponsive communication is disheartening. We know in the end it will be an helpless situation for us, they will give some explanation and we or anyone needs to got court, which we can't do and they are aware of it and play with the residents as they want. We feel compelled to pay, as non-compliance threatens our credit history. After all this we wouldn't recommend anyone to go through the similar situation."
"Never choose Apex! Worst apartment experience. For the first two months, you will hear a one-hour fire alarm every week. Every month, you will receive notices about the elevator not running. Every month, you will receive notices about the front gate being damaged, and the garage gate will be left open 24/7. The management team is terrible; you need to check if your rent is charged correctly because I found them double-charging for house insurance. One day, someone parked in my parking spot. I tried calling the community team, but they were off hours. When I contacted the number listed on the website, they said they no longer serviced this apartment, and no one updated the correct number. I had to contact the towing company myself; it's ridiculous. Now, I'm locked out of my door because the battery died. I called the apartment, and they asked me to submit a ticket online with no estimated time of arrival. They didn't even help me contact the maintenance team."
"Have been living here for almost 3 years and I am glad I didn’t continue my lease term . Wouldn’t recommend anyone as well, not because of the broken fire alarm which would wake you up at 2 am in the morning and you’ll have to spend 1-2 hrs in your car to avoid noise but the service they would provide . I got my apartment professionally deep cleaned before evacuating , not to mention they charged me quite some money for misc utility and carpet cleaning which I didn’t even argue but getting charged for additional cleaning was completely unacceptable and to add on top of it I have been emailing them pretty much every day about it but would receive absolutely no response , like they don’t care for customer retention at all or don’t even understand what basic courtesy is . I went there in person showed them the pics , they would ask you attach pictures and send it over an email but then would completely ghost you . It’s not the apartment as much but the management which is why I would avoid living there . I am attaching the pics and what additionally cleaning they did on top on it is beyond my understanding."
