"PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS PLACE (with receipts): I had moved here in October,2022 and moved out on July 29, 2023. We had to leave this place due to safety issues such as molds, termites and ect. Talking to the front office lady (Shayna) ,she stated that mold was a common issue here which is something they should have mentioned upon us applying for the apartment. Upon talking to them they quoted us 3,000+ for moving out earlier from our move out date which was insane as we were moving out due to safety reasons. After they investigated, Mary (community manager) was nice enough to let us go without any charges AS IT WAS SAFETY CONCERNS! We lived here for 5 months and had so much issues from fridge not working, termites, up stairs leakage and broken fireplace. If you look at the rating of this place the maintenance is all 5 stars because you will need them almost every week due to that many issues. The termites were located at our bedroom window which we had to sleep 1 ft away from every night... They took 1 month to fix leakage on the ceiling of our shower as they kept forgetting and I had to keep begging them to fix it. Please save your money and don't rent here. There are so many other places for the same or even lower of what they are offering. (There is an apartment which is right across the street with washer and dryer in unit for a similar price!) I was not planning on writing a review but I was hoping maybe I can save someones time from this place. I waited for almost a year for my security deposit which I got in the mail today for $0.65. CRAZZZY, not even a dollar! Called them and they are now stating that I should have gotten $66, unsure if I'm even going to receive that after all this time. Anyways, I would not write this much without proof or receipts. Thank you for reading and goodluck apartment hunting!"

She was really helpful and showed us an apartment virtually. We had finalized it and the rest process was smooth. I must appreciate the support that we got from Rashmi throughout the process. "Rashmi is great! 5 stars to her! As you can see by looking at the other Google reviews, a great leasing office staff can have a huge impact on how people feel about the community in which they live. I've moved into other complexes where the staff is very nice and the second you sign the lease, god forbid they return your call in a timely manner. Not Rashmi! When I had an issue with my apartment that ultimately resulted in me having to switch units, Rashmi worked over the weekend to get that new lease in place and have me transferred ASAP. It's easy to see that she cares and is giving this her all. Whatever they are paying her, I hope they give her a raise because staff like this is hard to come by. They should do what they can to keep her and make sure she's happy here. Although this is outside of the leasing staff's control, I did want to mention it because it could impact how other people (especially those with small children) might feel about renting here. Even though we're close to some good schools, I wouldn't want my kid walking around past dark around here. Being so close to BART, you get lots of unhoused people and petty theft. Vehicles have been vandalized, and our mail boxes were recently broken into, but Rashmi is working with a vendor to come install "sturdier" ones that can't be pried open with a crowbar or something. Some things are just out of the staff's control though. For me and my current needs (young professional paying her way through more schooling), the complex serves me well. Don't give me the newest stainless steel appliances, give me affordable rent! Maintenance is super quick to respond to any issues, usually same day or within 24 hours. Carpets seem to be replaced pretty regularly seeing as I've now occupied 2 units here and both carpets were in great condition. Overall, I'd recommend Eaves to a friend looking for cheap rent in the area."
