"Current resident here. We moved in the middle of January. Great community. Great landscapes. Bay trail next door. Apartments interiors are on the older side, but well maintained. The carpet in our unit is very old. The leasing office staff is welcoming, helpful and the maintenance people are good. I like that the leasing office is open 7d a week and that one can solve any issues by talking to the leasing office team in person or by the phone directly without playing the telephone game with the corporate office or some other offshore support team. This is the fundamental difference that sets this place apart from other apartment complexes in the area. Thank you Melanie, Ria and Rebecca. No hidden fees when you lease. 2 parking spaces are included into the apartment price with a very small annual fee for a parking permit per car. Package lockers are on premises. The application process is cumbersome, since they require access to your bank account via a third party provider, but I'm glad there are alternatives. Majority of non-covered parking spaces are very narrow which brings a big possibility that someone will damage your car. Pescadero apartments down the road (sister community) have the same issue. Other than that we are happy that we moved. So far we are enjoying..."
"Lived there for close to three years. We absolutely loved our apartment, loved the ladies at the leasing office. They, along with maintenance were ALWAYS responsive. We did live through the remodeling of the place, but honestly they were so fast and it got done in a reasonable time. The grounds were always kept up. Honestly the best place and the place that will always be home to us ❤️"
"I have never lived in a more beautiful place. I grew up in rural Indiana and then have been traveling around the US living all over for the last two years. I’ve lived in a lot of apartment buildings/complexes in different cities and this place is excellent. Ria and Rebecca in the office are great. Super friendly and easy to work with. Very responsive. The place is immaculate at all times. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. The gardens and landscaping EVERYWHERE are just beautiful ALL THE TIME. The pool/jacuzzi/gym areas are beautiful and clean. The garbage is kept up on and picked up multiple times a week, it’s close to the apartments and there are recycling bins and compost also. Excellent location with access to everything. There is a nice grocery store less than 5 minutes away on Redwood Shores Pkwy (Nob Hill-Raley’s). Decent rent price for the area. The buildings are beautiful, the apartments are modest, newly renovated, very nice. We have a water view of the tidal slough and there are nice paths to walk on all over Redwood Shores. Also, I forgot to add this in my original post: the management communications to the community are super respectful and not condescending or degrading which is greatly appreciated. Most places I’ve lived, community-wide communications tend to be rude and condescending, threatening and I hate that. So it is a nice change here."
"I lived here for one year, everything went well except for the move-out process. I wish I had known the high cost for moving out before I moved in. They are pretty strict with the move-out, at least for us. Be prepared to pay for a large bill including paint, cleaning, etc, although the paint in our apt was kept really good and they just insisted to repaint and charge us. I do like the neighborhoods though, staff was helpful and fixed it right away whenever I reported an issue in apt."
"My wife and I have been living at Indian Creek for 5 years. It used to be a good apartment complex, now it's a place that you wouldn't want to rent even if it was free. Since February, the owner started a massive renovation across the entire complex, breaking down walls, windows, stairs, balconies. The hammering starts at 8am and ends at 5pm. We are basically paying $3,700/month to live in a construction area. At some point our only door was boarded with a wooden panel and they destroyed our entrance and the only stairs. The worst thing is that the owner refuses to allow any type of remedies or rent reduction, they only offer us to move out early, but only if we let them know within 7 days (!?!). Needless to say, we are now taking this matter to court. Even when they are finished with the constructions, stay away from this property or any other properties owned by SRG Residential (Sares-Regis). They think they are entitled to do any type of constructions and increase the value of their properties at the expense of the paying tenants."
