"I've been residing here for a year, and overall, the apartment building is well maintained, with a clean gym. The receptionist and maintenance staff are pleasant. Regrettably, I must express concerns about the property manager, Samm, whose demeanor has been consistently rude, marked by a lack of communication skills and an unwillingness to assist."

"I’ve been living at the Higby for a year now, and I can honestly say I’d recommend it to anyone looking to live in a safe, secure, clean and well-maintained building. The property manager, Samm, has worked incredibly hard to make this a wonderful community. Working with Samm from the beginning was the selling point for moving here. I have never lived in a place that actually put time and effort into scheduling events to bring tenants together and had an open door policy with the property manager. Working with Samm and Nitra has made living here a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend the Higby to anyone wanting to live in Berkeley."

"the apartment itself is a 4: *no light fixtures in *no welcome packet did not include how tos such as access code to side door nor how to work ac. *shelving in laundry was cheap and poorly put together the amenity given the price: 3 *the amazon locker is an extra charge to register *no instructions were given for amazon drivers *the gym is great but tv has no channels; *the communal deck is nice but still don't know how to reserve. staff: 5 * Nitra was AMAZINGly kind both in application process and moving in."

"I live in Higby for a year now. It is a nice place to live in. It has nice facilities and a great team, always available to help and solve any issue we can have in the appartment. "I just literally moved in 5 days ago and as for now, I can say I made the right choice. Coming from the East coast, moving here took a tremendous effort but Higby made it easy. Thanks to Cazi and Nitra who are always there to answer all my inquiries and was very welcoming when I officially moved in! Samm, the building manager was very nice as well. She even gave me tips of where to buy my groceries. The apartment building was nice and well kept. Every tenant I bumped into the hallway were very nice. Honestly, I’ve read some bad reviews which made me a little scared of what will be my future in this apartment. It’s too early to tell, but I hope nothing negative will come my way as I start my new life here in the Bay area. To the leadership of Greystar, I will hold you up to the highest regard and I expect nothing less from you. Overall, I will still standby in my opinion that Higby is the right apartment for me and I hope this is a start of good relationship."
