"If I could give a zero star I would… Building and amenity is mediocre at best but the management is awful to say the least. Avoid at all cost!"

"Astronomically high fees ($1,000+) for doing anything, especially when moving out (which is likely, since they increase rent by 30% each year). Few amenities and not a lot of space for the amount of rent they charge."

"Know your legal rights if you rent here. In my case, the building manager (Megan) did a walk-through during my move-out and explicitly said everything looked fine. We signed the move-out inspection form together. Then, weeks after I had moved out, she charged me hundreds of dollars for cosmetic problems (microwave interior, stovetop, wall paint) she "discovered later" and added to the forms we had signed on her own. These were issues she easily could have noted during our walk-through together. Only after I cited California law and expressed willingness to go to court did she reverse the charges. Take a picture of everything you sign, when you sign it. None of this is legal advice. Rent at your own risk."

"Many people are complaining about this place and there is enough evidence that can be filed against the management. You will be charged a lot when you live in this building and you will be charged a lot more after you move out. Believe it or not. You can try it on your own. People did not sue the management and state those things which break the law since they are too busy with their studies or careers. Be sure to ask around when you decide to move in. You can't sublease when you rent the place and your door will be knocked on even if your friend is visiting.........."

"See my yelp review for details, TLDR below: To sum it up: 1. 30% rent increase for old tenants 2. disastrous move-out scene 3. maintenance staff lied about the condition of the unit, causing a few hundred charge on the final move-out 4. arbitrarily standard for "normal wear and tear" of the unit. 5. other tenants please add if things happened to you. Do I recommend living here? No if you're a normal person, and Yes if you are rich and don't mind spend $1000 as if it was $1. - If they raise the rent by 30% again, you just shut up and pay it; - if moving-out was painful, just hire people to do it for you (and please let them know they need to ignore everyone else's needs, even emergencies, to finish moving within the window); - if they charge you for arbitrary definition of "clean", you just shut up and pay. This is an angry review. However, being angry doesn't mean I'm not sincerely warning you with my true painful experience."
