"Worst apartment complex ever. Do not move here. There is literally NO ONE to talk in case there is a security or other serious problem. The leasing office is always empty, there is no way to talk to anyone in charge over phone (except for basic maintenance which are prompt, but does not fix security problems), they take forever to respond to emails and if they do reply in a couple days they do not fix the main problem. The people in charge basically ghost you when you move in. My packages keep getting stolen within a few hours after getting delivered. It’s not the first time and I have complained about this multiple times. Yet, no permanent fix has been done. I’m truly disappointed. Another huge problem is insulation. You might think it’s not a big deal. Except that a lot of other reviews complained about the summer heat being unbearable. I’m going to add that the heaters are electric and poorly placed. And electricity is expensive here. So even if you are conservative in using the heaters, in the winter you’ll have to add $300+ to the monthly costs ONLY for electricity!"
"I have lived here for 2 1/2 years so far (moved in during covid) and there are definitely pros and cons Pros * Maintenance is very good and on top of requests (1 to 3 days). They even have a schedule to come in and check the dryer vents, fireplace flue, and sprinklers every 2-3 years * They are pretty open to any kind of decor that you want on the balconies which is good because I screened mine in to prevent birds from entering that area because they tended to leave a mess * The packaging office makes it really convenient to get things delivered * garage parking Cons * Packages get stolen out of the locked packaging office. I would recommend that you have FedEx hold packages at a nearby location because I have had almost every FedEx package stolen * Utilities are pretty expensive * The elevator was down when I moved in and for 6 months afterword which made the move in process a lot harder for my third floor apartment * The trash cans are overflowing a lot, I think from neighboring homes using them * There is no one on call at the leasing office most of the time"
"Overall a nice apartment. A lot of reviews complain about no AC, but we knew that moving in, so not really the apartment's fault. They should screen the porches to protect from pigeons, which management knows full well is a nuisance to the residents here. The parking spaces are ridiculously small, and at only 8 feet wide, they seem to be in violation of San Mateo building code which requires 9 feet wide. I keep scraping my car against the brick wall, and it is miserable. As much as the manager of the month will claim to care on this review, they don't. Also, so many residents use visitor parking to park their second or third car, there is no meaningful visitor spaces and certainly no enforcement of this issue."
"Stayed there a year and half in a 1B1B unit. Just moved out. Pros: - Close to the highway entrance. - Friendly on-site team. - Free parking space. - Very bright rooms. Cons: - Noisy neighbors and parties in the common area until very late at night (sometimes after midnight). Calling Courtesy Patrol won't help. - Noisy garage door, not sleep friendly at night. - Pigeons problem, very annoying, noisy, and dirty. - Monthly utility is expensive. - Forget about your deposit, they will charge more than your deposit for the deep cleaning, painting, etc. The "pre move out inspection" won't help you understand, or even give you a good idea about the final charge. The office won't respond to your inquiry about expenses details at all."
"UPDATE: Still waiting for a call back from the team. Please let me know if there is a number that I can reach out to. The apartment is decent. There is a lake in the back, so you can enjoy long walks. I had three main issues with the apartment: 1. The elevator was broken ~50% of the time that I stayed there. 2. My $500 electric bike got stolen from here from gated parking 3. Move out charges were exorbitant and they don't budge at all no matter how much you explain it to them."
