"The Quimby apartments are beautiful. Management is friendly and easy to talk to especially Stefanie. Would highly recommend to live in the Bay Meadows community."
"Excellent neighborhood. TOP10 atmosphere...! Staff very friendly and very professional, Offering an excellent service 7 days a week. They really have a lot to offer to their customers and they really make you feel at home."
"We rented a furnished apartment here for a temporary stay for 1 month. Overall, good experience. The apartment is nicely decorated, even in the common space like the hallway or the lobby. Quiet neighborhood. The privacy is high as I haven’t heard any noise within our stay, except for the washing machine and dryer on running because they’re place next to each other in 2 apartments. Sometimes i hear my neighbor’s machine running, and I’m pretty sure they heard mine, too. Thankfully, there’s no complaints because I always do laundry at midnight."
"Writing my review after 14 months lived here. I have to say that the experience living at Quimby is awful. The management team is the worst I ever see. All the other complaints you see here are true. I am a tenant on the lease but they just completely ignored me for any communication. They trying to charge me and my roommate extra rent because we told them that we are moving out on the phone but they want an email. Why don't you email the tenants at the first place?? We told you that we are moving out but then you said you need an email several days later and we need to pay extra rent because of this? I've never seen any apartment management team communicate as badly as Quimby. You can't really find them in the office (pre-Covid), and you also need to take several tries on phone calls. It's all luck. Moreover, Me and my roommate have lost 10 packages over the year, the management team didn't do anything about it and said they can't help. We also have Several boxes are opened before picked them up at mail room. I don't know if the apartment is safe to live in. The locker also charge your if you don't pick up within 3 days, and sometimes the system don't send you delivery notification so you get charged without knowing. Seems they just want to make money from everything. No mention about the frequent false fire alarms and malfunction call box and elevator. Be careful if you are considering this place!"
"Review #1, Move in date June 20th, 2019: We've only been in the apartment for 2 days, so this first review is mostly about the management of the Quimby apartment complex and the lease signing. Me and my girlfriend had a really good experience working with Sharon Prasad and Morgan Hodge throughout the apartment application, document verification, and lease signing process. We moved from NYC and we hadn't seen the apartment at all, but because we were afraid we'd lose out on an apartment at the Quimby, we pulled the trigger on a $1000 deposit at the end of April. Sharon and Morgan were incredibly responsive as well as willing to help us out in terms of explaining the lease and any any questions that we had. About the apartment, it is a beautiful and very spacious 1 bedroom apartment (800 square feet of space that we don't know know what we'll do exactly). Our rent is around the $3500-3800/month range and for the location and space, we feel like this is not too bad for the Bay Area for 2 people. There are a couple of small quirks, such as no recessed lights for the living room or bed room, not enough towel racks in the bathroom, and a small bathroom sink; however, other than that, we've been pleased with the apartment, especially for having not visited or seen it in person until actually moving in. Will provide updated reviews as we stay longer in the apartment!"
