"The location is great if you have a kid that goes to Rancho or any schools in that area, butts up against the creek path. Sucks there isn't an entrance on the left side of the complex. Have to turn around in the court and go back to the front/side."
"This apartment was a big disappointing mistake. From day one, maintenance issues cropped up like crazy, and the management's response time was very slow. The supposed "amenities" were either out of order or in such a state of disrepair that they were practically unusable. The overall vibe in the complex was more like a neglected dorm than a place to call home. The noise levels were unbearable from the nearby street, highschool parking lot (congregation for race cars), making it impossible to enjoy any peace and quiet. The only good thing were the tenants, mostly nice people. But they were all trapped by leasing agreemtn in bad conditions. Several people I knew (including myself) were out of there as soon as the lease was over. Save yourself the headache and consider other options This place is not worth anyone's consideration."
"We lived at this complex for two years and overall it was not the best experience (although it's not horrible). Most people seem to be leaving and they have a leasing specials all the time (with few takers at this point). The location is fine, but the management is kinda non-responsive and standoffish. One problem with the apartment was that it got no sunlight during day, not even for few minutes; even tho ours was a second-floor apartment. So this caused dampness and always cold in the apartment, which was a problem for our son. The apartments are also not very kid-friendly, and despite being close to a college campus and high school, there was no family-friendly vibe. And, utilities were very high, on average $400 for all utilities per one month, in a two-bedroom apartment. Heating wasn't efficient, too, the building structure is old, no insulation. In the end, we decided to move to a different apartment just two blocks up the road, for more comfortable environment with better management and lower utility costs."
"I recently moved out of Camino Creek Apartments after several years of living there. Here is what I did not like: Dated features. This is a glaring problem in these apartments. The interior design and amenities were in desperate need of modernization. Outdated fixtures, worn carpets, and aging appliances were the norm. Moreover, the breaking appliances were a constant source of frustration during my stay. Whether it was a malfunctioning dishwasher, an unreliable refrigerator, or the bathroom faucet, it seemed that the appliances were always on the verge of breaking down. Another concern was the front desk staff's lack of attentiveness. When issues or concerns were brought to their attention, the response was often slow or, at times, ignored. This lack of responsiveness created a disconnect between the residents and the management, leaving us feeling unheard and undervalued. (Note, the front desk guy tends to shut himself in the office, windows drawn, as if no one is there. Some prospective tenants would leave after waiting outside. He also always wears black and walks suspicious). The unkempt grounds were also a disappointment. Despite the potential for a nice looking outdoor setting, they grounds were generally unappealing. The trash areas overflow all the time. The apartments also have seriously inefficient insulation which leads to uncomfortable living conditions. I don't think they ever updated anything from 80s when these units were built. Temperature control was a constant struggle resulting in higher utility bill (expect to pay much more if move here). Finally, this place is too pricy. They jacked up the rent just because others in the area raised them. But other apartment complexes seem much nicer and may have a good reason to justify their rent. Not Camino Creek!! This place definitely does not match the extremely high rents they charge. NOT a good place to live :("
"During our 7-month stay at Camino Creek Apartments while relocating to the state and in the process of buying a house, we encountered several issues that led us to consider moving out much earlier than planned. Despite initially intending to stay for a full year, our experience at Camino Creek Apartments was disappointing due to the following reasons: First and foremost, the lack of proper ventilation and high humidity levels in the apartments were unbearable. The musty smell and persistent mold growth in some areas made our living conditions uncomfortable and unhealthy (see images). One of the rooms became unlivable due to the severe mold problem, and we were forced to vacate it and use it for storage only. It was a major inconvenience and impacted our quality of life, causing respiratory health issue for all including our small children. Furthermore, the utilities arrangement at Camino Creek Apartments is the strangest one we've encountered. The cost of trash, water, and sewer are averaged out and distributed among the residents, resulting in higher bills for us when other units in the complex used more utilities. This was especially unjust for environmentally conscious tenants like us who made efforts to minimize water and trash usage, only to be burdened with additional expenses due to others' excessive usage. One should only pay for own use of utilities, and should not be subsidizing everyone else in the complex. Furthermore, the location of the complex was less than ideal. It was situated in a busy and noisy part of town, with constant drag racing and cars doing donuts on the high school parking lot across the street, as well as racing cars up and down Snyder Ln. The constant noise and disturbance affected our peace and quiet, making it difficult to enjoy our living space. Lastly, the initial promise of easy sublet possibilities turned out to be false. When we tried to sublet our apartment, the office staff was uncooperative and obstructive, despite us finding a sublet ourselves and paying up the $300 lease-end fee. Dealing with the unhelpful office staff added further difficulties to the already frustrating process. In conclusion, our experience at Camino Creek Apartments was disappointing. The lack of ventilation, mold issues, uneven utilities arrangement, absence of a kids' playground, noisy location, inconsistent rent payments, and unhelpful office staff for subletting were significant issues that impacted our stay negatively. We would caution others to carefully consider these issues before choosing to lease at Camino Creek Apartments. PS: It is worth mentioning that Camino Creek Apartments has a surprisingly high vacancy rate, even in a competitive rental market. It seems that many people choose to avoid this place, which is something we wish we had known beforehand."
