"Others have stated similar. I only had an initial consult of what service they offered. No exams or evaluations. They charged my insurance $900 n then i owed $100. My copay at very expensive n renowned facilities where i actually get exams for this same issue has been $5. I’ve asked in advance about all costs and they say one thing at the desk n then you get surprised and why i never even got any treatment through them. Very concerning practice when they are this disconnected from what is happening."
"I have been a patient at Advanced Pain Medical Group for many years. While the care is typically good, their accounting and back office is horrendous. Every time I go in for an office visit, I pay prior to seeing a doctor (they won't even allow you into a consult room without first taking payment). Somehow, after each visit, I still get a bill saying I owe for the most recent consult. Each time, I have to contact their office and get the invoices cleared up. Most recently, I again notified them of their incorrect billing, which they acknowledged, but then stated they also just "found" a visit from almost TWO YEARS ago that they didn't collect on. Again, I've never been able to see a doctor there without first providing payment. I emailed and called again on this bill, stating I believed it was not correct, as they have a history of incorrect billing. Months go by and I receive no response. After multiple followups and hours spent trying to get accurate info I finally receive a call, where the billing rep states the charge is accurate. I ask for two sets of documents that would prove this charge is correct. I'm told I would get those. I received 1/2 of the documentation I was told I would receive. I'm now back to following up with emails and calls trying to sort their poor accounting out. HORRIBLE office management."
"Horrible service . Wait times are ridiculous. The front desk staff are freaking rude. I seen how they talk to seniors who are alone with no caretaker to speak up for them. Disgusting."
