"I’m a little frustrated with these people. I placed an order with my own debit card on a Thursday, and heard nothing of my order until I got an email from Maureen on Monday rather impolitely demanding a picture of my drivers license before they would process my order. Since when do I get carded to buy a plasma cutter? And if they needed my drivers license could they at least ask for it right away, rather than wait several days while I wonder if they forgot about my order? Anyways, I’ll quit ranting now, but I will probably never order from them again if this is what I have to go through. Save yourself the headache and just buy on eBay or Amazon or “welding supplies from IOC”."

"I think the staff needs training! Maureen took my online order and processed my credit card-but then demanded I email a copy of my driver's license before releasing it. I complied and immediately sent it. Two days later I find out that she canceled my order because my street address on my license was different than my credit card billing street. Same city, same state, same name, but different street number because I haven't updated my license since we moved. No call, no communication, just cancelled. I called and spoke with a manager at Big Bend-he essentially said that's our policy. What kind of customer service is this? I made an order, paid for the order with a personal card, and I confirmed my identity. They refused to sell to me unless I came into the store personally or was able to provide an updated drivers license. I cannot believe this is how Welders Supply Company conducts business. Such a huge disappointment and frustrating shopping experience. I will never purchase from them again."
