"Dollar General is a nice local dollar store in town. I mainly go there for quick runs to the grocery store, and their selection is diverse enough that I don't usually have to go to another store for quick grocery runs. It's a medium-sized dollar store; however, their selection is quite large enough to find what you need, whether it be groceries, or personal hygiene items. That being said, if I'm planning on spending several hundred dollars to restock the house, I'll go to Wal-mart or Trig's."
"Cashiers are great here! Helpfull & hard workers ..they know where everthing is! Store manager is not so cool or productive! Sadly needed a western union and he uses lies that system was down! B.S. I call. Went down the street and wouldnt you know it Western Union worked there! Wow huh! Keep an eye on this man! Like a snake slithering outta FL into the local community! Shameful Management! Complaint Letter sent to Corporate! But I'm sure he will lie to them also! I'd terminate him if he worked for my company! Move on little boy move on!"
"I never write reviews. However, I believe this is warranted. I've utilized this store only recently because we don't have much to choose from in St. Germain. I have been in customer service in this area for 7 years. Never have I treated customers the way the male manager has. On 3 different occasions I have witnessed him not only being unprofessional, but rude. I understand summer is a very difficult season to work in customer service in a tourist community. There is NEVER an excuse to treat people disrespectfully. The cashiers have been kind and lovely. If you can't communicate effectively and respectfully to your customers, perhaps choose a different profession. I will travel to Eagle River or elsewhere from now on."
