"Medical care done right. Imagine an institution that puts the health of the people before the profit motive. That imperative is written in the basic principle behind Kaiser. You choose your doctor's and you can change any time. The patients give the doctors a grade and so they have incentive to do well. The waiting time is minimal and there is free wi-fi to make the time pass quickly. One of the best aspects of Kaiser Permanente is their use of the Internet and telephone. You can find all your medical records online. You can make or change appointments. You can get personal medical advice from a registered nurse or speak or message your doctor. This feature has quickly become essential in our house. I should mention the pharmacy in T.O. is top notch and almost all meds are included with a small co-pay. This facility is not full service and for specialized services we must drive down to the very large complex in Woodland hills. Traffic is rarely a concern for that short journey. Parking in the large complex in Woodland hills can be a concern so come a few minutes early. A tram runs around the large lot picking up and dropping off. I had a top of the line PPO before switching to Kaiser. It cost me thousands of dollars more per year than Kaiser and was not as effective or convenient. I attended a free conference at a hotel near my home to learn about Kaiser Permanente and there my many questions were answered. I am convinced that you will make the same decision I did if you look into Kaiser Permanente."
