"This pharmacy is understaffed, and most of the staff are incompetent and unprofessional, sometimes outright rude. Expect mix ups, long waits, refusal to fill if doctor's order doesn't cross a t or dot an i. Your phone call probably won't be answered, and even your doctor's office will likely struggle to contact pharmacy. Recent experience crossed the line. Two male pharmacists (Mr. Seong and Mr. Tinh) threatened me and acted physically aggressive toward me, and when I asked for the employee ID numbers to submit complaint, one of them yelled "suck my d...." as he walked toward store exit. Shift manager was apologetic, gave me store manager's info, and generally handled it quite well. It will be interesting to see how Walgreens mgmt handles this. I generally don't like the idea of someone losing their gainful employment, without receiving a 2nd and even 3rd chance for even quite significant infractions. However, Mr. Seong went too far in crossing the line, and I don't think it would be unfair to get license suspended for his behavior. Mr Tinh's behavior, while poor, wasn't nearly as egregious, and corrective action with incident being documented but maintaining his employment might be appropriate. Aside from all of that, this pharmacy has so much potential, and it's unfortunate that it's so bad."

"STILL waiting for a prescription refill. Went in to the store three times (1718 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz, CA). The first time they assured us they would refill the prescription ASAP and text us. Nope, never received a text, we've had to go in there a third time and are waiting yet again for a text saying they've finally refilled it. AND I called and waited on hold for 78 minutes--they hung up my phone call instead of helping me! I've gone to Rite-Aid and gotten excellent service. Save yourself this time-waster and skip Walgreens. ADD: The owner responded that they care...but looking at all the other 1* reviews they have done absolutely nothing! I actually spoke to the store manager today, Cristian. He said he couldn't do anything to help me, that they were short-staffed. Apparently they have been for the past 2-3+ years and STILL refuse to do anything about it!"

"I’ve been sitting in the pharmacy drive through for over 15 minutes and they same 3 cars are still in front of me, the line hasn’t moved. They began closing the pharmacy over weekends about 7- months ago. The lines are unacceptable. Time to change pharmacies. Update 8/25/23: Same as before. The two cars in front of me drove off after waiting with nobody coming to the drive up window. I pushed the Call button and it rang over 50 times before someone said they’d be with me in a minute. It’s been about 15 minutes and nobody’s returned to help me pickup my auto prescription refill. This could easily be the best pharmacy if they management would properly staff the facility."

"When I got there I greeted the first pharmacist I seen some fat lady with tattoos. No response at all looked like she was one of those Karen’s already with attitude. Was then greeted by someone else and said it was going to be a min. Until someone finally came to help. They all looked miserable in there too probably why they’re all in that mood they’re in ."
