"The pharmacy tech doesn’t wear a mask. I wanted to get my Covid booster here and shop at an independent pharmacy but I did neither because of the mask situation. I don’t know, maybe if you’re getting a vaccine, have it at a place that practices sanitary conditions. The women in front of me at the pharmacy register asked him, very politely, why he doesn’t and he smugly said he doesn’t have to. It was also not possible to shop because the vast majority of the shelves are empty. I read some other reviews and apparently the lack of both merchandise and RX meds has been a problem for over a year. I left after I saw that exchange but while I was there I saw the pharmacist come out from behind the counter wearing gloves, go into the little injection area and vaccinate someone, come out with the same gloves, and continue to work and handle medication bottles with the same gloves. Seems odd."

They're very supportive and they'll track your refills and have them ready for you to pick up. The customer service is outstanding! The previous owner, Sam, retired so its a completely new operation now and much better run. I highly recommend Sunset Wellness Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is substantially friendlier and more helpful than the Walgreens on Irving St."
