"This pharmacy told my patient that they never received the prescription we sent over. I took time out of my busy urgent care schedule to call them to clear up any confusion and help get it moving for the patient only to find out that they did, in fact, have the script on their end. I was then informed that they were behind by about 3 hours. Healthcare is hard. We're all busy. But when you give the wrong information to a patient, your pharmacy's congestion becomes my urgent care's issue as well. Instead of taking accountability and telling the patient that your pharmacy was delayed, you sent him back to me with the idea that I never sent the script in the first place. I was then forced to be on hold for over 17 minutes just to find out you didn't need me to call and the script was already there. Something needs to improve; CVS service is getting worse by the day."
