"Dr. Davies has been taking care of me for a few years and has single-handedly given me a better quality of life. As someone with Crohn’s disease, a lot of complications come with the illness, and can easily compound with other issues. I was suffering for so long until I met her. Not only does she give great care as a physician, she makes sure to get proper screenings that I haven’t received in the past. She works closely with her team in order to ensure that her patients get the most comprehensive care, and that they have an opportunity to get their lives back! I wouldn’t be at the level of wellness that I am now if it weren’t for her taking care of me. She is an exceptional specialist and I’d recommend anyone to her with GI issues."
"Our experience with Dr. Davies has been wonderful. Our first doctor diagnosed my daughter with lactose intolerance by only feeling her belly once. Dr. Davies took the time to listen and ordered tests based on our concerns and we now have a diagnosis and treatment plan for my daughters condition. I appreciate that Dr. Davies did not stop with the first condition identified and kept an eye on my daughter as a whole. We first discovered my daughter had h-pylori and we began treatment immediately; however, this did not cure all of her symptoms, so Dr. Davies ordered another test and found that my daughter also has Crohns. She provided all treatment options, explaining what each would entail and put my mind at ease. Above all, she sat right next to my daughter, held her hand and explained to her why we need to do the treatment that I chose. Dr. Davies truly cares about the children she serves and we are lucky to have her as our doctor."
"My son initially saw Dr. Davies three years ago ..we went and had a second opinion and they told us my son did not have Crohn’s Disease We recently came back to see Dr Davies and now he has advanced disease. We are grateful to have such a caring doctor - we only wish we had stayed with her my son would be in a better position with his health"
"My experience with Dr. Davies was exceptional. I called her office and left a message to speak to Dr. Davies and she is very responsive. Not only did she answer all my questions but also educated me about my Sons diagnosis. I feel very confident with Dr. Davies and her staff."
"Dr. Davies' practice is poorly run. They do not communicate electronically at all so all appointment info is either verbal or on paper. It took weeks to get my son in for an appointment and, when he was there, she did little except to palpate his liver and refer us for ultrasound. Here's the problem: - The ultrasound order was not received by Sutter Imaging. I called Davies' office again and they said they sent it but will send it again. A week later, Sutter had still not received the order. - Similarly, he was also ordered for a lot of blood panels. Davies' office gave us a Quest lab slip (on paper, again no electronic orders) so we took that in. They took so many vials of blood from my boy because of all the tests she ordered! But possibly because of a typo in the lab slip, Quest can't find his results! - Davies' office called to tell me the doctor does teledoc visits on Tuesday afternoons and that she will call me. They would not commit to a specific time, only a 12-4pm window. I agreed to do the teledoc appt. I waited 4 hours and SHE DIDN'T CALL!! - Davies' general office hours are complicated and hard to navigate, something Mondays - Thursdays and something different on Fridays. But their telephone hours are different still. I am still trying to get time during my workday to call them back and ask why she stood me up for the teledoc appt, what happened with my son's blood work, and why they can't seem to get his ultrasound order through to Sutter. When I talked to the referring doctor at Urgent Care, they said Davies' office is always hard to work with. We decided to proceed with my son's treatment without her. I'm still trying to call them to get our blood work results, but that's it. We want nothing to do with Sacramento Pediatric Gastroenterology ever again. Hopefully you can navigate this hot mess better than we were able to. This doctor & staff need a wake up call."
