"Dr.Perrizo and his team and all the support people here are amazing. I had chronic back pain, had the Mild procedure ( minimally invasive lumbar decompression ) and it worked for me. I have hope for less pain and am gaining back the confidence to live my life again. Many thanks to this team."
"Nothing but a money scam here. They found a new way to keep charging your insurance instead of having a Dr refill your prescription. Mr Adler was less than helpful, didn't listen, talks over you rolls his eyes and walks out on you as you’re talking. Tammy will not return calls, they make you come in so they can keep charging you over and over. It got really weird a few times with Tammy as she can be an open book (TMI) Front desk was like high school, bunch of teenagers giggling and letting the phone ring. Very unwelcoming environment, they treat you like you’re on parole with the questions they ask and constant drug testing. Mr Adler is rude condescending and a know it all. Stay away from this place, I have a PPO and walked away from this Prison/parole atmosphere. He also works at the Encinitas location but his behavior there is much more professional for obvious reasons."
"February 2024 I still want to award more than five stars. Currently, I'm going thru back pain problems...like many of you out there. I like to think of this as having a life fully lived. PP has sent me to several specialists (outside of this practice) and I am awaiting insurance approval to move forward toward the next step in treating my back. (Not at PP. They are not getting anything out of this - except a happy patient; and this enthusiastic review.) I want to give special shout-out to Amanda there, who provides the most comprehensive and timely follow-through and patient care. She is an Angel. Over and over. If you have any reservations about choosing a pain management practice - see this office! You will be in good hands. August 2022 My personal pain credo: Pain may be unavoidable - but suffering needlessly can be avoided altogether or at least minimized. In 2015 my General Practitioner referred me to PPMC for some pain related issues that were beyond his expertise. I am most grateful that he did. Since that time, PPMC has helped me with various pain issues in my neck, back, shoulders, elbows. Yes...I've done a lot of living and have a lifetime of experiences and injuries that have manifested more noticeably in recent years. PPMC's approach is to find the source/cause of the pain and to relieve the cause or at least to minimize associated pain. When needed, they have referred me to other practitioners such as orthopedic specialists for my current rotator cuff surgery. This was after trying several non-invasive approaches such as steroid injections along with physical therapy. My experience with PPMC is thoroughly positive and pleasant - from the front desk administration to assistants and practitioners. Kudos especially to Michael Davis for his kind attention and (actual) listening to me and coming up with various recommendations and follow through treatments. Not every pain related ailment is 'curable' but in some instances we have been able to mitigate the pain to a level where I can still function. Currently, I am in PT shoulder rehab and expect to get back to my fifty first year of surfing in November. Consider also that within a one mile radius there are countless medical services and specialists - including Tri-City Hospital that are in the same network. This makes for easy and convenient transfer of records, referrals and myriad exchange of information to help make your life easier and healthier. If I could give them more stars - I would."
"I had the best pain management person ever and when he retired I was really afraid I wouldn't get anybody as good. I went to a few other doctors and nobody was able to make it work but Pacific Pain Medicine doctors really helped. Drs Adler and Perrizo listened to me and it worked and the injection was painless! I recommended them to a friend and she is ecstatic over the results."
"I have had the extreme privilege of having Lawrence Owusu PA as my caregiver at Pacific Pain Medicine Consultants. Over the last several years he has taken great care of me by patiently listening to me and offering the best course of action to make sure I am able to live a life as pain free as possible. He is very compassionate and caring and always concerned about my quality of life. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome professional who truly cares about his patients."
