"Dr. Jackson was professional and very accommodating. Her staff was also kind and efficient, not an easy mix, but they did it."
"IN REFERENCE TO: Maria Agorrilla. i came in with a stage 3 pressure ulcer. when I asked you for a recommendation for time off work, which is required for me to request medical leave at work you refused, when i asked why your response was because "I didn't do the labs for my blood test ove⁸r a year ago on my last visit" i explained that with pressures ulcers, one of the most important things for healing is pressure relief, and the ability to tend to my wound on a daily basis as well as wound care. You didn't seem to care and didn't want to hear how my other possible health issues are impacting my life and tried to rush me throughmy appointment while dissmising all my questions and concerns. I also explained that my job is an hour drive each way, and my workday is 9 hours long. 5 days a week. (12h) total a day that i would be sitting on a stage 3 pressure wound. The likelihood of this causing further harm and exacerbating my injury, as well as the gravity of the potential harm that would be caused by this could lead to a fatal infection, flap surgeries, heavy medical expenses, life long issues as well as depression, anxiety, and further disabling me from enjoying a decent quality of life. The ease of which she could have Prevented foreseeable dangers and further damage is obvious, and required. by refusing to allow me the time to heal and stay off my wound by simply writing me a doctos note has already caused me additional stressors, I cried all night after leaving your office wondering what I am going to do since I will be fired if I don't show up for work and don't have a doctor's note, but knowing showing up and sitting on a bad wound for 12h a day 5 days a week is guaranteed to worsen my injury, I am also the bread winner for the family. My 3 kids and girlfriend depend on my income to support our household. Forcing me to choose between my career and health when you could do the right thing and provide me with the quality of care and respect I deserve as your patient whom you took an oth to provide a quality standat of care for. Im pretty sure thats the deffinition of NEGLIGENCE and Mal practice. I don't care if you don't like me, if you don't like my habitats, or lifestyle. It is your duty to provide a standard of care that is deemed fit by CA State medical board. denial of the proper treatment, recommendations, and documentation because i "didn't do my labs, last visit"..over a year ago is not okay. I literally left with a doctor's order for chest x-ray because I am a smoker.. when what I needed was a CT scan to check on the soft tissues under my wound to see how bad tunneling may be and the damage that exist.. Everyone has a bad day, or deserves a second chance. This is yours, please do the right thing here or I will contact every resource in my power (State Medical Board, Lawyers, Local News stations, Social media, The Executive director of the state board, Bill Prasifka) to make sure i have access to a doctor who can provide me with the standard of care that is required and that i"
"Do not go here very unorganized & a very unprofessional doctor Anita Jackson should not be treating patients! She literally has no compassion for her patients! I brought my 93 year old mom there & she didn’t even let her talk then when I tried to explain my moms symptoms she just stated it’s just due to your age! She literally left the room & never came back until the assistant came back in room & I told her how unprofessional that was & she must of heard me talking then came back in room with attitude! I told her she should let patients talk so that they can get treated correctly! I told her how unprofessional it was to leave room & that she needs to work on having some compassion for her patients! She didn’t seem to care! Horrible doctor!!!"
"If you need an annual physical with this provider as a new patient, you’d first have to pay to become an “established patient” ($310 Office/outpatient visit, new). After that, you can get your annual physical with the 2nd appointment. More clarity on this practice will be much more appreciated during scheduling. I was not made aware of this practice when I scheduled and visited the office as a new patient. I was very specific about my annual physical for my company’s wellbeing incentive program. If the provider was sincere and honest with its fist time patient about the annual physical, I believe on paperwork or the office staff should make it clear to that a new patient is “NOT” allowed to have annual physical done on the first visit. First you need to be an established patient to receive annual physical on a 2nd visit. For anyone who already has a primary doctor, you may want to reconsider switching to this provider for your annual physical. The office does not have a phone extension connecting you to the person handling your billing. I jumped through many hoops to finally connect with someone who handles the billing. Her name is Joy. She explained the whole process to me and was unwilling to correct the CPT code. My Anthem insurance does have a CPT code specific to annual physical for a new patient. But Joy was still unwilling to change the CPT code to annual physical because she claimed that I received additional medical services that the annual physical would not cover. The additional medical services she referred to was inquiring information on birth control and other health related topics. Joy told me that these questions and consultation was not covered under annual physical. My recommendation/Path going forward: 1. The right expectation. A new patient will need to pay for the first visit to become an “established patient” to receive annual physical in a 2nd appointment. 2. If you want to consult any health topic during your annual physical, you make sure you get things in writing that you will not be billed for it. Have the correct annual physical CPT code ready for your provider during your annual physical visit to prevent any later surprise to you billing statement. 3. I'll go through California Department of Insurance to file FD-1 form for suspect of medical provider fraud under labor code section 3828"
"Dr Jackson and her medical assistant genuinely seem to care about their patients. Dr Anita Jackson as well as her medical assistant from the 1st moment I walked into the office showed a tremendous amount of empathy for me as well as finding the right solution/medication to help treat my disorder. They made me feel very comfortable and both took time to talk with me and help reassure me. I would recommend this doctor and her staff 100%.thank you Dr Anita Jackson and staff ❤️"
