Exer Urgent Care - Irvine

"I believe the processes in this clinic could be organized better. There is waiting time between nurses and doctor. I didn't see many patients in the clinic . However, we still were waiting for one hour and a half later I realized this is happening because everyone (nurses and doctors and personnel) takes between 10 to 30 minutes before start working on his or her assignment. We usually go to another urgent care where I see more patients however, shorter waiting time because processes are organized better I like this clinic because of extended hours however, I will go in this clinic only as a second priority because I don't want to wait for two hours waiting for a quick examination. Additionally, the doctor or nurse practitioner wasn't able to read x-ray, so so she advised us to wait for another day when radiologist will come."

"Decent during previous visits but not reliable. Closed a half hour earlier than hours stated on door (small sign easy to miss), and four and a half hours before time posted on the desk. Door was unlocked, then someone told me to kick rocks after 10 minutes meaning I missed the chance to go somewhere else. Hire more employees, shame on this company."

"If you have ucship do not go here, go to uci instead. They take your ucship. I went to visit this facility back in april 11. They had me perform multiple tests. They call me a few days later telling me they lost my sample and have me come in back on april 17. I go back and they try to charge me again so I told them I would not be paying for their mistake. They said okay, took my sample. Tests all come back negative, no issues there. Fast forward to a couple months later, i got a bill from quest diagnostics for both 4/11 and 4/17 which they had to perform because they lost my sample. I ended up having to call both ucship, exer, and quest. Exer took hours to get me a call back. The manager carolyn was extremely unprofessional, and told me that the issue would be resolved regarding being charged twice. I asked her to send me a email follow up regarding this. I never got that email. Fast forward to this month. I get another mail from quest asking for payment for the 4/17 tests which exer had me come back in for because of their negligence. Terrible place. Do not go here. Dont even get me started on the homophobia."

"NOTE: We saw this Urgent care location (Near UCI) listed in our internet search as “Coming soon” but that is wrong!! This location, near UCI, is fully open for business and has great hours, M-F! It is one of 2 Exer locations (The other in CM) so don’t let Some of the incorrect search results for this new Irvine location confuse you. They ARE already open. One of my kids injured her foot and we thought it might be broken. It was 8:00 On a Sunday night and We’d never been here but thankfully it was still open so we hurried over. We were very pleased at how spacious and clean this Urgent Care was. Everyone working there, from the receptionist to the X-ray tech/nurse to the PA were extremely kind and had very positive attitudes. They got us in, seen, x-rayed and provided with the results, etc… in no time at all. I’ve been to lots of various urgent care clinics over the years and although we’ve only had this one visit to base our rating on, so far, this Exer urgent care location is one of those at the top of our list ."
