Scripps Medical Center Urgent Care Jefferson 2205 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92054

"I was turned away night of 12-18-23 when I arrived at 7:50, 10 minutes b4 closing. They denied me help after pleading and crying to them of my pain and told them I had blood in my urine and they were rude and condescending and didn't help me at all. I told them how they couldn't turn away a patient. I have insurance PPO and I'm a patient under Scripps and under their care. Front desk checked me in b4 8pm and denied care but all they wanted was to be difficult and show off their authority and power and refused to help me. The staff straight up lied! Too how many other patients have they lied too. We're suppose to trust and believe these healthcare employees. There's a lot more details but I don't want to jeopardize any investigation in process regarding this matter. If you've been turned away by this urgent care during business hours or if you were In facility on this date and time and witnessed what happened to me please message me. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to any other patient In their care. What they did and how they handle it was ver very wrong!!!!"

"Great experience here. Just went in to get my 5-year-old son checked out as he has RSV and I suspected he was dehydrated and needed an IV. Even though this location ostensibly doesn’t specialize in pediatrics, and we were a little unsure if my son would tolerate being IVed without being strapped in (Rady ER has straps), the nurses on call were super sweet and resourceful and swaddled him and got the blood draw and IV done quickly. Besides the wonderful nurses, I was very happy with our doctor, Dr. Jeffrey Ross Belanoff who was professional and attentive and took time to explain things to us so we could make informed decisions. Overall, I was happy with how clean and comfortable they made things for us. Will definitely be using this urgent care again if I ever need to."

"I got right in with little wait time for having severe panic attacks for 2 days, that my Dr., Dr. Bendal, my new Psychiatrist (referred by my ex Primary care Dr. Baroudi) refused to treat, who I do not recommend under any circumstances. Location was easy to find, the parking was easy, the staff was very curtious. The facility was clean, with ample space, with bathrooms, masks, antiseptics, Kleenex available.They gave me enough medicine until my upcoming Scripps Dr. appt. Saved my life, literally, as I had other major complications due to panic, which was addressed properly. Their website gave a good description and included an up to date specific wait times, which I really appreciate. Concise discharge paperwork."

"Ive had to go to this urgent care multiple times. Each time I am speedily checked in and cared for in a professional and kind manner. Everyone was great, the doctors, nurses, techs, and front desk staff. Everything that was going on with me was explained in a way I can understand and how important it is I get my follow ups done. Sonia K. who works at the front desk especially went above and beyond for me to help me get all my paperwork in order, giving me the proper phone numbers, and explaining how everything works in detail. Insurance and getting appointments scheduling is difficult for me but with Sonia’s help everything was a breeze."
