"Emergency waiting times is awful. Don’t go there if you’re in a lot of pain because we were there six hours sitting in waiting room for back and neck injuries. Just to get tested and still left there with lots of pain and discomfort."
"We went for blood work to this lab for my daughter based off an order by her primary. Without our knowledge amd without any permissions from us, Scripps lab outsourced tests to labcorp resulting in us being hit by a heavy insurance bill due to NPI mismatch. We were never told of this by billing department despite repeat calls to them. Only on receiving a labcorp bill were we aware of the situation. Its unethical of Scripps to outsource their tests to other labs under the guise of in network testing. We will avoid this lab and any Scripps lab in future."
"Wheelchair accessible, excellent doctors and a multitude of specialties, all under one roof! My cardiologist and neurosurgeon both have practices in this building. Just last week I was able to go downstairs and get a quick X-ray that I needed too. It’s a bit tricky to find, though very easy to navigate once inside. There’s a large touchscreen interactive map that lists all of the doctors by name and speciality once inside."
"We've been with Scripps for well over 10 years. We're also fortunate to have the same Dr. Over that period. Having been to many facilities throughout San Diego County, I can say that every visit or phone call has been respectful, polite and caring from Staff personnel and Doctors. Of course, people-are-people. Still, I give Scripps an 9 of 10 score overall. We're very pleased with our primary. Any perturbations in Scripps interaction is handled by "Quality Care" division; of which, I submitted a minor issue a few years back. It was handled within 24 hours and feedback provided to me every-step. Congrats on a Super Professional Performance...Scripps (Encinitas primarily)."
"Appointment desk Confusion. Took in person visit and couple phone calls to match my appointment to their books correctly. Once I got in Suite 302 to see Doctor, he was fantastic as well as the nurse that I seen prior. Was told be Doctor I would receive prescription, which i did, 30 pills for 15 days taken twice daily. After 17 days I called to reorder some more. The front desk gal, says I have taken too many pills and that I need to speak with a nurse. She takes call as says oh yes, you were to take one by mouth twice daily. Perplexed, I said I did. It's been 17 days, I ran out couple days ago. After being put on hold, nurse comes back on to say she misunderstood, thought I had pill count of 60. I said no problem and indicated I also was feeling under the weather. I showed up without an appointment to Suite 302. I was the only one in the room and very kindly let the receptionist know, I do not have an appointment, I would like to see a doctor, any doctor, as I do not feel well. I was sneezing , coughing, scratchy throat, etc. I stood about ten feet away as respect for the receptionist. The receptionist asked if this was over the pill situation? I said, no. This is seperate and the pill situation is being resolved. She searched for a Doctor, after a 30-40 minute wait, a nurse called me in. She was very nice, asked if this is over the pill count situation. I said no. I feel ill and was hoping to see doc to counter this sickness coming on. She directed our to the hallway receptionist. Different gal, sits five feet from the first gal I talked too. I told her I wished to see a Doctor. She replied I wish you would have mentioned this, our last opening just filled up! I said I made it very clear in the waiting room I wanted to see a Doctor, any Doctor. She directed me back to the original waiting room. I waited about 30-40 more minutes and left disgusted. Like I said, Nurse I seen and the Doctor I had seen a few weeks prior, were fantastic! The front desk receptionists are another thing. I was very patient, they were abrupt and/or without answers."
