"The WORST. Scheduled an appointment months ago. They cancelled. Rescheduled for several weeks later. They cancelled again. Rescheduled with a new doctor. We had one request: a female doctor because the appointment was for our daughters. They booked it. We checked out the doctor online: It's a man. Called again, got the run-around. Best they could do was an appointment in a few weeks at 8am at another office, 45 minutes away. Buh-bye. Never again."

"Dr. Maghen has a great bedside manner. He is not reactionary and genuinely cares about his patients. Even when my baby was screaming while he tried to look into his mouth, this didn’t phase Dr. Maghen. He is willing to answer any questions and remembers details of our most recent visit, and he doesn’t seem to be in a rush. He patiently listens."

"Overall I’ve been extremely unimpressed with the care we’ve received at cedars. We’ve had many distressing interactions, however I will highlight our most recent - an appointment that took weeks of calling, waiting and cancellations regarding a possible infection. Since our primary pediatrician never seems to be available we were placed in the “care” of Dr Brown. Dr. Brown seemed unknowledgeable and unwilling to listen to the symptoms we, the parents, observed. I was given a short window to get a urine sample from my 2 y/o daughter and was told if she didn’t urinate then we’d have to leave, without a sample or any way of collecting one - even after I conplained she was crying out of pain when trying to urinate. The doctor seemed uninterested in the diaper I brought as evidence to her symptoms - it had an overpowering ammonia smell and it was alarming (to me), he was dismissive and quick to go. I had to beg the nurse (also uninterested) to listen to me. I was told I would receive a call regarding the results yesterday after our visit - I never received a call. The results on our mycslink show there was blood and protein in my child’s urine, but again I got no call and STILL today we can not get through on the phone lines due to “high call volumes” - the recording has said this for weeks. Cedars is unorganized, ill equipped and unsympathetic to children's needs and the needs of family’s. The doctors all seem tired, overworked and burnt out. I will advise anyone I meet to avoid cedars pediatrics unit for the health and well-being of their family."
