"All Old Town Trolley tours are excellent. The only feedback for this particular one is the address and directions are sorely lacking. The actual location is the ticket booth at the south end of Seaport Village, near the deadend roundabout aka 500 Kettner Blvd. (NOT 825 W Harbor Dr!)"
"Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a last minute City Lights Tour, because there was availability for a 6:30pm tour. Stated to be there 30 minutes early so I ubered and got there just under 30 minutes in advance. The check in booth was closed and no one was there. I waited and waited until almost 6:30 when I called the business. They stated there was no availability. I wouldn’t have known this unless I called. A trolley never even came so I’m not even sure there was any tours that night and yet I was able to book. Wasted my time and money on Ubers for nothing."
"We highly recommend this experience, especially for tourists (we were visiting from Portland, OR). We were able to but tickets at a reduced price through our Worldmark place near Balboa Park. Jeff was our guide, driver & DJ for the evening and knows his city as well as dealing with traffic! We had a full bus (38 people) and departed on time. San Diego at night is so different than the day time, so if you only do one type of tour, do this City Lights Night Tour!! The views from Coronado, looking over the water towards downtown were phenomenal (see attached picture) and we had a 15 minute stop here to take pictures (which of course turned into 20+ minutes as some people can’t tell time...lol...). The trip is about 90 minutes long and depending on traffic through Gaslamp District & Little Italy, it maybe closer to an additional 15 minutes. Our bus was loaded with singers who joined in with a lot of the music that Jeff was playing throughout the evening. Compliments again to Jeff for making the evening a memorable one!"
"We were given the wrong information and missed the tour! We had pre-purchased the tickets and called the phone number on the brochure. Someone said we had to be 30 minutes prior to our reservation at 470 kettner boulevard we went there and there was NO ONE. And one of the LERN tour guides from the trolley also mentioned that we had to be at that location. So we got false information TWICE. We lost the tour opportunity and the money we spent. We were supposed to leave from the hotel. I am very disappointed with the lack of correct information."
"This was a great way to learn about and see the city at night. Before we started our tour we grabbed a quick bite at the nearby Cheesecake Factory. Prior to boarding the trolley we met our guide Charlie from the Chocolate factory, not really. He was full of interesting and fun facts. Not just on the tour but while we were waiting to board. He also remembered we said we get cold and was kind enough to turn the heater on for us as we sat in the back where the windows were open for the best views. You go through the Gaslamp district, Little Italy, Balboa Park, cross the bridge into Coronado where you get to stop off at the beach. The way back brings a view of the Midway all while being serenaded by appropriate music tracks. This all ends back where it began where you can get 50% a glass of wine and the top of the Hyatt. A slight disappointment as your promised a voucher for a free drink when you book online. My only suggestions to improve the tour would be to allow people to board the way they check in, and slow down if possible for those photo ops."
