"This is amazing place to come if you have any health issues or just need a "maintenance". Amazing doctor. Mao, Doctor Angela and Doctor Dao are true life savers - for me and several of my friends who has been treated at Tao of Wellness in Santa Monica. I am patient of Doctor Mao since 12 years back, and in last 4 years I am also patient of Doctor Angela Soeon Park. I am familiar with Doctor Dao's work on several of my friends. Doctor Mao has been my primary health care provider in many years when I lived in Los Angeles. With his broad expertise, he successfully treated me for chronical back pain, fibromyalgia. migraines. My real health issues started at the end of 2019 when I moved to Florida. I suffered 14 unexplained anaphylactic shocks in 8 months. I visited over 20 different doctors, several times I ended up at an Urgent Care and Emergency rooms with my face swollen and airways closing. I was "allergic" to everything according to doctors and no one could find the reason, explanation nor the cure to my condition. It was worth to spend the money for travel, accommodation and daily treatments. With strong accupuntures , detox treatments and strong herbal therapy - my sinus is getting better. I have to mention that both Doctor Mao and Doctor Angela were so kind and carrying with medical advices, follow ups and adjusting herbs while I was on heavy ( non working ) antibiotics treatments in past few months in Florida. Their in person treatments calls for miracles. I can highly recommend Tao of Wellness. I can also share that a few of my dear friends has been successfully treated here for different advanced stages of cancer, when they chose to trust the Chinese medicine here and refused chemo and radiation. "This clinic is extremely harsh and uncaring. Even if your neighborhood is being evacuated due to a flood, or you are dealing with devastating health news from your MD, these will be counted against you if you reschedule with Tao of Wellness. So if you ever have a more normal emergency, like a computer failure in the middle of a big work or school project, you are SOL because you already used up your excused reschedule. I don't think this is a way to treat patients. Coming from someone who worked in health care for many years, I understand the importance of the Dr. and staff's time, and I also know that you have to care and be understanding about the patients as well. I don't think patient care is the top priority at this clinic with Dr. Dao."
