"No doubt It was a fun/beautiful kayaking experience but our guide was not doing her job properly. I went for the 3:30 tour and the lady guide with us DID NOT take us inside or through any cave as promised. That was the whole point of the expedition. Half the time we couldn’t hear what she was saying, she did not seem to care if one of the kayaks was left behind. We expected to see the caves inside and aquatic life around us, I know you cannot control aquatic life but atleast take us inside the caves as promised. The guide was sweet and knowledgeable but I would request her to adapt some professional guiding skills necessary for her job."
"We had a great experience with Everyday California! We were able to rent wet suits at a super reasonable price (we were glad we had them on!) and our guide, Danielle, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Conditions weren't right for us to go in the caves, but it was still a fun and memorable experience."
"Booked the 10AM tour (December); unfortunately the waves were too rough for us to go near the caves and we weren’t able to see any wildlife but it was overall such a cool experience! Really great team and it was organized and informative. Tips: - Rent a wetsuit! It’s affordable and it’ll keep you warm - you’ll definitely get soaked and there’s the possibility of you flipping over. Bring extra undergarments because whatever you wear underneath will get wet. - If you get even slightly sea sick or motion sickness, would HIGHLY recommend taking Dramamine at least 30 min prior to tour (a few in the group got sick). They sell it in store if you don’t have any on hand. - Listen to the instructions! It’s rough going into the sea and rough coming out but if you follow the instructions the guides provide you’ll be fine (and won’t flip over). Lean back into the kayak to ride the waves coming in. So much fun! - Wear wet shoes or something secure if you dislike going barefoot into the kayak. Would definitely return, remember to tip if you enjoyed it :)"
"My 14 y/o son did an individual surf lesson, and it was the BEST. His instructor, Nate, has a relaxed but helpful nature that calmed even my crazy-mom nerves. Nate took time to instruct my son on the basics, guided and helped him when needed, and gave him the confidence to try on his own. It made his while trip. Hands-down, worth every penny...and still was a very reasonable price for the time and instruction given, not to mention the amazing experience. The whole staff at Everyday California were helpful and genuinely happy. The store has great merchandise, and their branded apparel is done really, really well. We feel so lucky to have come across this place! 10/10 recommend! **I attached a couple more pictures. Again, Nate was the actual best. I think he enjoyed teaching as much as my son enjoyed learning. This will forever be a cherished family memory!"
"So much fun! They provide everything you need included in the cost: snorkel & fins, kayak, helmet and life preserver. Wetsuits and lockers are available for a small additional fee. I was glad I got a wetsuit, the water is a little chilly in October. Our guides Phil O. & Darby were very funny and informative. They helped launch our kayaks through the surf and we then paddled toward the sea caves, along some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. Darby gave us the geological history of what we were looking at as Phil O. kept a running humorous commentary. It was a lovely snorkel at the sea caves, we saw lots of bright orange Garibaldi, as sea lions bellowed from the rocks. Highly recommended!"
