"Friendly staff, and we enjoyed learning about the local fish in their tank. We took a half day boat out fishing, and we all enjoyed ourselves. The captain and crew were extremely helpful with the kids."

We went out on the Southern Cal September 29 and the boat was squeaky clean, the crew was really helpful and very nice to talk to. Hats off to the skipper Brian who was top notch. "We had SO MUCH FUN! (fished half-day in the morning on Dec 21, 2022). I have reviewed a lot of places, and this is a RARE 5-star review. Go ahead and see my other reviews, you will see that this place definitely deserves 5 stars. The cost is reasonable, even when my wife and I rented poles and tackle. Captain Dave was AWESOME, and he knew right where to go to find the fish. We were only in 1 place that was slow, and he took off after only 5-10 minutes because he wanted to get us somewhere with the fish biting. I caught the biggest sculpin of the day, and Shannon and I together easily caught over 50 fish! We had several "doubles" when we reel it up and had 2 fish on the line (it was baited with 2 hooks). We kept 17 of the fish, many were too small to keep. Oh, and Max? He was the best! So helpful. Max and his buddy cleaned and filleted all of our fish at $2 per fish. Easily worth it. Nacho cooked me a delicious double cheese burger. These guys are the real deal. Thanks Oceanside Sea Center! We left a big tip, because these guys are the best. I will be back."

"Went on the dolphin watching tour and it was simply AMAZING. Our tour guide really knew his stuff and was invested in making sure we all had a great time. Even just the boat ride was fun with a hilarious play list. We saw over a hundred dolphins and being in the smaller boat was such a delight because you could literally TOUCH THE DOLPHINS. Simply the best. You should 100% book it."
