"I do not recommend this doctor. I saw him because my primary doctor wasn’t available. At first, it seems like he’s listening to you because he doesn’t dismiss (at least not outrightly) whatever medical issue you are complaining about, and he will claim he’ll do whatever it takes to figure out the problem. However, there are many red flags: He ordered a bunch of tests, some of which seemed a bit odd. Given that my condition at this time is symptoms without obvious/known cause(s), I figured it give it the benefit of the doubt. I did all the lab work. But I had a bad feeling about the whole thing. I really didn’t want to go to my follow up appointment, but I had to go to get my test results. He looks at my results and says everything looks good. He couldn’t even remember why I had visited him the first time. He asked me how my cramps are! I said I don’t have cramps. He then tried to put me on this weird diet without even asking me what I eat! I visited him for reasons that had nothing to do with nutrition. Why would he want to change my diet without knowing if my diet is any good or not?? Some bizarre suggestions included in his recommended diet were to NOT eat fruit (I don’t have diabetes or high blood sugar or anything like that), don’t eat oatmeal (?!), don’t eat 7pm-11am, drink “artichoke tea” for a month, among other things. No thank you. I am athletic and can’t possibility not eat that long every day. I visited him for muscle and joint pain, unexplained itching all over my body, and not sleeping well. The diagnosis he submitted to my insurance was “irregular menstrual cycle,” a condition I don’t have and we never discussed. Is this even legal?! In the end he said, “at the end of the day, you are the best doctor. Go think about what may be causing these issues and tell me at the next appointment.” What happened to we’ll dig until we find what’s causing the problem? There certainly won’t be a next appointment."
