Concentra Urgent Care 3140 Balfour Road, Brentwood, CA 94513

"Don’t let your insurance tell you this is an urgent care because it’s not. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience. The second I walked through the door I knew it was a mistake. This looks like a play pretend doctors office and the people there obviously have no idea what they are doing. I was there for a total of 2 unnecessary hours. There was no reason it should have taken that long but I was being very patient the whole time. I needed antibiotics for an infection. The practitioner prescribed me some and I go to cvs next door to pick up my prescription, waiting another 40 minutes, the pharmacist informed me the practitioner wrote my prescription wrong so she was trying to get a hold of her to send the right prescription. It was 5 o’clock when the pharmacist told me this so Concentra had closed. Being right next door, I drove a minute there and tried to open the door, it was locked and the lady at the front desk ignored me. I’m uncomfortable and in pain. All I needed was antibiotics to feel better and to treat my infection. I just wasted half my day to not even end up getting the medicine I needed because these people are incompetent."

"Friendly and professional staff. Could use better communication for walk-in patients. Be prepared to wait up to 30min as a walk in, most of which will be outside in line. Once you are checked in the process is very quick."

"Check in was quick and easy, however the wait time was super long for just a drug test. Had to pee in a cup and needed to go at check in, had to wait 1.5hrs. I was getting cramps from not being able to use restroom. Drug test are quick, should not make people wait so long for them."

"The employee who did my actual TB test was so nice and helpful, but checking in at the front desk was not ok. Every girl that came up there had the worst attitude, ignoring patients, taking forever to acknowledge them. The heavy sighs when someone walked in just made them seem so annoyed with their jobs. It was just an uncomfortable experience when you feel like you are bothering the employees just for needing assistance."

"I tried to arrive at a time at which I thought was early which was 30 minutes after they're posted opening time. Much to my dismay there was a line outside the building and the lobby of the facility was filled with people also. Much to my surprise, the staff expedited everyone's visit there (which to me it seemed) and record time. Upon my arrival at 9:00 a.m. I stood in line, filled out the forms, went through my procedure all with very professional employees and was back in my vehicle by 10:00 a.m. (1 hours time) pulling away to go home. After I experienced all that, I have to give Concentra a "10" for their professionalism, knowledge, courteousness and the way they moved expeditiously in a company in their visitors."
