John Muir Health Outpatient Center

"I've always thought that John Muir was a good facility my son was very fearful of shots and gave them all run for there money a few times on getting it done but even the receptionists came in to help talk to him he gets hysterical during these times and they got the job done every time and he lives to c another day! He's Older now but pediatrics was a good experience for him even up till now we both think positively about there staff and the way they care about people they always took time to listen to my son he likes to talk and ask questions alot of questions at times and he used to bring a puppet with him every wear we went like we'd puppet is in are Hawaii dinner photos as well he went everywhere with him and they just loved it and spent time talking with him about the puppet. Dr rood is absolutely fantastic knowledgeable and sharp up to date on her medical ways of thinking but been around a long time now so she's just a smart lady in general she talks to my son and really listens to him and is just exactly where she should be she's just great. He saw another Dr there for years who wasn't as kid friendly at first it seemed but it turned out she was she's not as inviting but once we got to know her she was Very nice and smart as well she spoke with me more then she did with my so.n so he didn't get that connection. That he gets with Dr rood but there both great just different styles. No complaints here."

"I would highly recommend you don’t see any doctors in this facility, wether it is urgent care or a normal doctors visit. I would give less then one star if I could. The doctors simply don’t care about anything you have to say. They don’t listen to the problem your having and they definitely don’t care to help. They mislead you and give you incorrect information. All you will get is a run around and sent from one doctor to another and another bill to pay. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this hospital for the last year and I will never go back."

"Did not like the service at all. Front desk staff was very good but the nurses and doctors seemed to not even care about my health. I felt as if they just wanted me out. I went because I have been having a bad pain on my left hand to the point that I could not lean on it or sleep good at night. I told this to the doctor, which I believe name is Chris Burkhart and his response to me was "you look like a healthy person". Ok? Well my pain is still there. He did not give me any suggestions as to get it massaged, buy something for it?? NOTHING. Just told me to have a good one. He did not even want to touch my hand as if I was nasty or something? He just touched my hand and said does it hurt? Well it did not because there was no pressure in it at all. But anyway not going here again. Worse case scenario my insurance covered half the bill but they still sent me a bill of $150. When they did not do ANYTHING for me."
