"- Make sure to put in directions specifically to "Gopher city dog park" /parking area, otherwise maps doesn't know where to go - TINY area within a big golf course/recreation park - Unless you live nearby (can walk around recreation park) or desperately need a rest stop for your dog, I'm not sure it's worth going out of your way - I appreciate that SD is dog friendly and that there are a lot of dog friendly spaces, however, i agree with some previous reviews: No one cares about this place or the maintenance - It makes me feel kind of sad lol"

"Great spot for SKA Futsal games, newly remodeled tennis courts. Bathrooms are a little rough but nice to have"

"This park I have only visited a few times. It's peaceful, quiet, and is secluded. The only issue I had was there is at times a high population of un-housed (homeless) in the area and its uncomfortable having them watching me every moment I'm there. It brings a sense of not feeling safe at times. I would give it a higher rating but 2 stars due to that."
