Fernale gave me the best cut I've ever had. Beard and all. Dude cares about his craft. Go check them out. One of the few places that offers walk-ins."

"We’ve been coming to Five Star for all most a year and my boys both absolutely LOVE going there. My middle son has anxiety about cutting his curly hair as we’ve had some really bad haircuts in the past, and every single time, he feels like the coolest kid in the world! We schedule with Dante for the most part but have done walk-ins too and had other barbers, and my boys have never been disappointed!"

"As stated in other reviews it is commonplace for a barber to not show up for a scheduled appointment. I scheduled two child haircuts for my sons the morning before we flew out of the country for a wedding. I wanted nice sharp haircuts for my boys. I scheduled the appointments a week in advance. I waited for 15 minutes without being greeted. Then one barber asked who our appointment was with and I stated the barber (I didn't select them I let the app choose because we were first time potential clients). Bottomline my time was wasted and I did not appreciate the lack of decorum. There were 3 other folks in the shop doing nothing but hanging out. It took an hour but we ended up going to sport clips. I wish to support small businesses especially BIPOC owned but this time it did not happen and it was due to the lack of professionalism of the business. It's unfortunate."

"Our first visit and we were impressed! This place is fun and a total dude barbershop. Young barbers who are unbelievably talented. My 15 yr old son loved it and Dante made the experience very personal for him. He communicated and cleaned him up better than any other place we’ve been in Janesville. Happy they’re open on Sunday! They are cash only but an ATM is on site (2.50 fee). They have now become our go-to!"
