"Horrible place. Had a nerve injury here during a procedure, then the mri a week later….I was screaming in pain. No one helped me. Doctor didn’t give me anything for pain and was unavailable. There is no emergency room. This place is pure hell. I hope everyone who was involved in my care gets to feel the levels of pain and discomfort I endured during my procedure, during the mri and the months after. Not a place I recommend."
"Please do not go here for Sleep Medicine unless it is your only resort. I ended up wasting a year not getting what I needed and am now forking over actual money to a third party to handle what USC could not in a timely manner. The Sleep Medicine Department is struggling to keep up with scheduling, listen to patient needs, and structure concrete timelines for follow-up telemedicine care and logistical care. The receptionist staff team is not comfortable with transparency of when follow-up calls (callbacks) are returned and the physicians and coordinators directly responsible for the care are not sufficiently staffed to handle large patient volumes and seem discouraged to make any mention of it. I tried not to be the person that was pushy and over the top when it came to my care but it seems like any communication amongst the staff is overlooked because of current working conditions. The staff have my sympathy however I am working hard as well do wish to see my insurance money being spent on QUALITY care as I am entitled to. I do hope the people responsible for making these work conditions (leadership) do see reason and plan better for the wellbeing of the medical community at Keck Hospital of USC (patients, caretakers, and physicians included). I do NOT wish to see the people who tried to make things right with me punished as I do understand the state of healthcare as a workplace. However some policy and staffing changes need to be enforced to ensure that lack of care does not transfer over to other patients."
"A wonderful hospital with even better staff. My dad was transported to the neuro department of this hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away, but I will never forget how amazing the care he received was. The staffs bedside manners were impeccable. They would explain everything they were doing and were very accommodating to family and friends that visited. Special shout out to Marlon and Shayfer."
"I love my doctor in the Spine Center but staff leaves a lot to be desired. They don't return calls and don't respond to emails. I've sent two emails in the last two weeks with no response yet my emails were reviewed. Tried to reach a supervisor. I was told Serage Rahima would call yesterday and no return call. Told again today he'd call and still no call. It's an ongoing issue with staff. I experienced this five years ago and I'm still having the same problems. And now I need to consider finding a new doctor because I can't get a response. My boss had the same issue recently with staff in a completely different department. This is horrible patient care."
"Beautiful Hospital. First 2 hrs of parking garage is free - very convenient for visiting & patient pick up. My family member received quality care after a kidney transplant surgery here."
