"First time I needed a checkup was during COVID and during that time I totally understood that it would be a year to wait for a checkup. Rescheduling an appointment from July, the next time I can see a Dr will be end of April. My insurance claims wait time to see a Dr is one month. Apparently Sansum sees that differently."

"Sansum in general is one of the worst medical resources I’ve ever experienced. Last year you had to wait 8 months for a physical check up with your primary care doctor. Now it’s a year. I can understand a month or so but not more than that. A year wait means you should probably just stop practicing medicine and retire. I don’t know what the problem is with this clinic. There seem to be plenty of doctors living in Santa Barbara. Are you really that understaffed? Or do all your doctors only work two days a week? The fact that they also close their help line at like noon on Fridays is also terrible. Not everyone in Santa Barbara is retired with their lives more than half over."

"Veterans beware. As much as I love Dr. Kapadia, The doc I saw in Neurology, the billing office is the problem. They never seem to have the right referral and authorization dates accurate. They are kind, but lacking in good communication with insurance providers."

"Great experience! I was here for by Obgyn with Joanna Gibb, PA: Communication via text message is convenient. Easy and fast registration, clear instructions on where to go. Joanna is friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommended Sansum! Btw, everyone has a long wait time to get you in, we are in a small city and providers are limited and a lot have retired or left! I am grateful that they ended up fitting me to the schedule to be seen!"

"I just Recently went to an appointment at the cardiology clinic and the attending medical person (mr. Learner) Dr.?!.. He started by making me wait in the lobby waiting area after my Echo appointment to have my heart looked at and then proceeded to act like I was wasting his time with the Unprofessional mannerism and the way that he held his body and the the way he rolled his eyes when I was asking him some serious questions about my heart. He would be a Good reason Not to see a Doctor Anymore (and not to get the vaccine.) The rest of my visit was relaxing and made me feel cared for. I apologize for such a response. But Something had to be said about such Childish behavior from a health professional. Thank you for your time at reading this."
