"I've never been told that I cannot be let known about how many people are in the ER I'm trying to decide which hospital to go to and nurse Maryanne for the ER department was very rude and said "I will not let you know how many people are in the ER if you need to be seen you need to be seen". Did not let me get another word in and hung up. That's the kind of attitude you get upon first speaking with somebody from dignity. As a mother who delivered a baby two months ago here in this same hospital I'm not coming in alone. I don't have the childcare and I not only have to get my childREN down, but my double stroller, diaper bag, etc. Not to mention I'm going because I'm not feeling well. That one question answered could've saved me just a little trouble."
"My elderly uncle was treated at Marian, and passed away there. From start to finish, as they broke the news to us that he was failing the staff could not have been kinder. His care as a hospice patient was considerate and helpful. I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to all of his family as well as him.thank you so much"
"Marian Labor & Delivery, & Post Partum Department deserve so much more than just a 5/5 star. I recently delivered my first daughter there. Let me just say - the entire team was phenomenal. I had quite a lengthy stay, but I can’t complain because I was treated like a queen. I just want to recognize Sarah RN, Miranda RN, Monica RN, Alex RN, Rebecca RN, (Labor & Delivery) Melissa RN, Lucy RN. (Mother & Baby) Each and every single one of the nurses mentioned went above and beyond what is expected of them. From bringing me little snacks, helping me breast feed, to even taking me on walks outside. The kitchen staff were also very pleasant. I would call them to make changes for my meals, and every single kitchen staff member gladly took my request and always had a great attitude, even over the phone. I’d also like to thank the housekeeping staff. They randomly came into my room and brought me flowers in a vase. It was so sweet. There’s so much more I could say about my stay there, but it would be even longer than this. Needless to say - THANK YOU MARIAN STAFF! You guys are the absolute BEST!!!!!"
"My experience is based off the labor and delivery at Marian Hospital. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the cleanliness of the hospital and my overall experience. I was induced so I was kept there a total of 2 nights. Each nurse and doctor was AMAZING! They definitely have a great, hard working team! They were concerned for my needs. I got an epidural and the anesthesiologist was phenomenal! I have had a bad experience with the epidural at another hospital but this was not the case here. The delivery room was nice and big, then the post op room was cozy. I didn’t have to bring anything but a going home outfit for me and my son as they provided everything I needed. They listened to me when I asked for something and got it right away. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Labor and delivery for all your hard work and dedication to your job! It made me very happy."
"This hospital has gone down hill. The wait times are extremely long. I got here at 6:30 pm it is now 1:30 a.m. The bathroom are very dirty with unsanitary items on the floor. There is no toilet paper and the seats are filthy. I informed the front desk people off the situation at 7:00p.m. At 10pm still dirty at 1:20 am still dirty and no toilet paper in the small stall. Having to use toilet seat covers to wipe is not cool. One restroom has a little paper left the other has nothing. They have no idea how much longer to be seen. Back in the day this hospital ROCKED, fast in and out, workers were nice and the place was clean. Bummer it is WAY DOWN HILL"
