"Not only was the drive way bumpy but also the designated areas for car park where very un even. Its a free parking spots. Despite that set back ,the picturesque drop off near by known as Cliff offered an amazing view of orange yellow sky at dusk"
"Amazing place to gather and watch the beautiful sunset on the pacific coast. Get there early for parking. I would also bring a blanket to sit on. The part we watched from the other day was down under the cliffs but atop there is plenty of space. It’s all beautiful but it is 100% a busy area where locals and visitors come to watch so if you have a specific idea in mind get there very early or let go of your expectations to enjoy the marvelous views. Not super handicap friendly either, as most cliffs aren’t. I would also wear good shoes as the cliffs below are extremely slippery. On top you can wear whatever you would be comfortable in."
"Sunset Cliffs is pretty incredible! We park where Sunset Cliffs dead ends at Ladera Street. There are stairs that go to a lookout, but if you continue to follow the trail, there’s more to be had! For those less adventurous, the trail that goes along, the bluff has beautiful views with benches where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch the surfers down below! For the more adventurous, you can take the rope “ladder“ Down to the hidden beach area. It’s quite incredible! Creatures, warm sand, fun rocks to climb, it’s everything you could want in an afternoon adventure. The only bummer is that during periods of high tide, the beach is completely inaccessible."
"What a beautiful place. Definitely a must see. If possible, go at low tide so you can hike down to see the caves and tide pools. The way down can be difficult for anyone who is not is shape. Lots of slippery rocks and wet conditions. I would rate this a 5, except for the lack of bathroom facilities. Definitely pee before you go."
"Unbelievable, the scenery is incredibly majestic ! My friends and I were absolutely amazed and even emotional facing the astonishing sunset. Definitely breath-taking and unique. We will come back tomorrow with more layers to stay even longer until the dark night… The beautiful and colourful canvas will make everyone happy and unleash the love you have for humans and planet earth ! Thanks Mother Nature, I’m grateful and thankful for the wonderful opportunity ♥️"
