"Was referred here for a CT scan. I called to make an appointment, that was ok, 5 min wait time, no issues. Was told they’d verify with my insurance and MD and I’d have to pay the deductible. Needed to reschedule and called back the next day, was on wait for over 20 mins. Hung up and called later in the afternoon, was much quicker. It seems when they get busy they put folks on hold for long periods of time as the person handling the phone seems to be the same person doing intake at the location. Not an efficient system. A day before the appt, I was given a call, confirmed appt time and told I’d have to pay the deductible. I said ok. Day of the appt - I arrive and was told they never got the doctors orders and I can’t have the CT scan. Why would that not have been mentioned in the call I received the day before? They cared more about mentioning the payment than the requirement. We were able to obtain a copy of the order and CT scan went as scheduled. The only reason I’m giving a 2 other than a 1 is the person who did the CT scan was kind. As I was leaving, I heard the front desk person tell another patient they can’t move forward if they don’t have the doctors orders. It seems to be a bigger issue of UMIH not telling patients what is needed prior to their appointment and then being mad that their own miscommunication caused a breakdown."

"Seriously stay away from this place they have bad reviews for a reason . My husband went in for MRI over a week ago and still has not gotten his results there is absolutely unacceptable…. They also need to have someone who understands English OMG!!!i"

"Getting an appointment is worse than getting a hold of the IRS!!! I waiting 1hr on the phone only for them to tell me I didn't need an appointment for an XRAY! Drove all they way here from Sylmar only to be told they aren't doing xrays today because the technician isn't in!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would"

"I called for a MRI of the Lumbar. Nadia said we have a cancellation would you like to come? i took it and i had amazing and efficient service. I didnt have my insurance card or paper authorization.. but they were able to get all of it using their computer. I was in and out in about 30-40 mins with a CD in hand! Thank you for making my first MRI experience very enjoyable. Paid Valet parking and stress-free! next time ill order 2 of them :)"
