"Dr. Lee was unorganized, unprepared, and rude at my appointments with him at The Dental Specialists. I eventually discontinued my care with him, despite the thousands of dollars spent on appointments that resulted in no dental work. I suspect that Dr. Lee behaved poorly because he did not agree with the plan that a previous doctor at TDS (she left the practice) had created for me. Despite my willingness to consider his plan for services, he did not provide me updated documentation of his preferred plan nor did his demeanor improve. His lack of all-around professionalism delayed implementation of the process--I take full blame for my responsibility in some delays--and ultimately made me decide to take my needs elsewhere. Dr. Lee may be incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but it does not excuse his poor chairside manner. I have never in all of my years of dental care and procedures had such a negative experience as with him. I will not miss his often-proclaimed flip comment, "Well, what are you here for today?" That usually resulted in an approx. $200 out-of-pocket payment, and yet another 2-3 month delay until he was next available for an appointment. Please note that staff at TDS other than Dr. Lee were always kind, professional, and wonderful to work with."
