California Inn & Suites Rancho Cordova - Sacramento 10800 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670

"Lobby smelled like urine, once we got to our room it smelled heavily of cigarettes, and I wish I was exaggerating… the toilet actually had pieces of toilet tissue on the seat, and there was no smoke detector in there. We asked to switch to a new one, and the receptionist didn’t even say anything he just looked at us and proceeded to change the room on the computer- thank goodness. When we got to our new room it still had a weird smell, again no smoke detector, the latch for the lock was missing, the towels did NOT look clean, there were multiple pieces of blonde and red hair in the body towels and face towels we couldn’t even use them. The shower head wouldn’t move, and there was barely any water coming out. There was mold on the caulk lining of the bathroom counter, the white bed linen had a sort of color to it and didn’t smell good either we didn’t even sleep in the sheets we slept on top of everything. Worst decision ever, I know it’a long review but please don’t waste your money. Go somewhere with value."

"I want to be sure that people know that the entire staff here are very helpful! The lady who cleans the rooms was quick to come help us figure out the 2 remote controls it takes to watch tv! That needs to be simplified! Nobody wants to hassle with watching tv! It should be a simple matter but it had us stumped! The walls were cheaply repaired and the room had a dated smell and needs a plug in air freshener at all times! I would stay again because the staff were so pleasant it made us look past the downfalls! It’s important that people understand that you’re in a high traffic area right near the freeway so taking that into consideration you can probably figure that the hotels in this area are used & abused and the staff are doing the best they can to make everyone feel comfortable!"

"I love this place Jay is so helpful and very sweet. I needed a room on the ground floor and had come a bit early before normal check-in and she was very accommodating. The room was big and had all the amenities listed and in working order which is a plus mini fridge, microwave, iron & hair dryer. TV was Fire-TV which I liked alot. Again I can't say enough good things about the ladies there in the A.M. Jay and Olivia are AWESOME! I would recommend this place to anyone, good price , so many places to shop and lots of good food within walking distance! Thanks Ladies you made my stay the best ever you won't be forgotten!"

"My experience with staying at California inn and suites has been absolutely amazing. My room was big and comfortable. The housekeeper are very nice and sweet. Oliva and jay was excellent when checking me in my room making sure everything was up to part on my time of staying there. There are many places around to eat at if you just wanna grab something quick. But overall everything was great with my time of being there. I would definitely recommend my next stay there the price is very reasonable also."

"Picture looked decent. I got my room and I noticed the awful smell of cigarettes, dirty blanket and pillows. Decided to stay, turned off the light. 30 mins in, I turned the light and found many roaches crawling on the floor. Went down to the office and I was told 1st floor tend to have roaches due to the weather, according to the male at the desk. He said he will give me a suite on the 2nd floor and for me to check it out first. I said no and processed a refund through the booking 3rd party. * note, I called back to go pick up my charger, they picked the phone and listened with no response. Made the decision to not go back and just get me a new charger Stay away."
