Stay Classy Hostel

"Sound management makes it impossible to sleep- there’s literally cubicle 20 beds per room and you can here every time anyone coughs, drinks water, or even rustles around. With 8 beds in a hostel room it’s mostly quiet still, but with 20 it’s not quiet ever. At 8:30am you Can’t sleep any longer because everyone jumps up afraid to miss flights and someone always needs to run back and forth 6 times right past their bed Generally everything else is nice but unless they put sound deadening in front of the cubicle beds you won’t get any actual sleep"

"Amazing Hostel! I stayed for 3 nights in February and I have nothing but good comments! The staff is amazing/friendly, the hostel is one of the cleanest I’ve been to, bed is comfortable and space is amazing. You get 1 towel per day. There is an area to get ready with blow dryer/ straightener provided. Shampoo conditioner provided as well. Gave 4 star to location since it’s obviously not near the port BUT 5min walk to bus station etc. which is very easy to take with PRONTO APP. Downside is the poverty in this area but as a solo female traveller I never had any issues and didn’t stay in this area anyway! ☺️ The Hostel provided some rideshares to different locations but I couldn’t download the APP since I am not from the USA."

"This was our first hostel experience and it was really GREAT. The entire facility was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The beds are EXTREMELY comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet considering it was a full house. The bathroom/toilet facilities were really clean and spacious and the separate vanity area was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. First time in San Diego for a 5 day conference and I couldn’t have been more impressed and comfortable with the hostel. Definitely exceeded expectations and hands down will love to stay again without second guessing. Super clean, perfect privacy, everything you may need and more, very helpful and welcoming staff. Carlos even helped with my bags and answered any questions that I had. And helped me send out an extremely important document needed to be sent out on the East Coast. Great atmosphere of people coming and going. Most importantly, I felt safe and well respected as a woman traveling alone. Will highly recommend and can’t wait to see y’all again!"

"The place is very quiet. The rooms are shared however each bed has its own curtain which gives complete privacy, although the beds are a little soft. The locker does not require a lock. The bathroom is spacious and the showers have plenty of space, it has many common areas to use them, they offer towels. However, I got a dirty one."
